Absolutely perfect place to stay for a 3-generational family of 12. Immaculate, with plenty of space and amenities to accomodate all of us. Perfectly situated with stunning views of Whiteface Mountain and star-filled nightime skies, whether it be from the campfire, the deck, or the hot tub. The kid-friendly walk to the Ausable River was a hit, as was grilling marshmallows over the campfire. Highly recommended!

Absolutely beautiful view of Whiteface, with a small walk down a well maintained path and boardwalk to the river. Great amenities for cooking which was a plus for our families who love to cook. Close proximity to the Town of Wilmington and 20 min drive to Lake Placid. We had 3 families of 4 and we were all very comfortable with places to gather and to chill.

Perfect house and location

This house was perfect for our vacation with our family and another family. There is a second tv room downstairs and plenty of bathrooms for everyone. Oh yeah and on top of that the views from the fire pit cannot be beat! It was great week and we plan to come back again

Beautiful House in Stunning Location

The house is perfect for a large family. The backyard has beautiful views of the mountains and the living room has large windows to view them. The ski mountain is very close and easily accessible. Check in was easy.

Our stay at the Algonquin Mountain Chalet was perfect! The view of Whiteface was stunning. The house and grounds were impeccable and stocked with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay! We are already looking forward to another stay at this lovely chalet!

Location is perfect for skiers and Lake Placid interests. View from house is stunning. House is nicely stocked and hosts, Judi and Aseem, were very attentive to all our needs and concerns.
