The apartment overlooking the Colosseum and Roman Forum is on the 5th floor of a beautiful 1800 building with elevator in the heart of the lively Monti neighborhood. In the apartment there is a living room with a dining set, a sofa and a double sofa-bed 140x200 cm, a room with a European king bed 160x200 cm, another room with a double bed 140x200 cm, a little room with a single bed 80x200 cm, kitchen, two bathrooms (with washbasin, toilet, bidet, bathtub/shower, hairdryer).

The apartment is equipped with autonomous heating and hot water system, heating and cooling air conditioning system, fiber optic ethernet network, Wi-Fi, television with Fire Stick, washing machine, iron. From the balcony, with two small tables and four chairs you can enjoy beautiful sunsets facing towards the Colosseum, the Arch of Constantine, the church of S. Francesca Romana, the basilica of Maxentius, the Palatine hill, and the Roman Forum.

Amazing place! We stayed for 2 nights before our cruise with a party of 6. The location was perfect walking distance to Colosseum & restaurants . Short taxi ride to Vatican and 1 hour to our cruise port . Excellent communication with the host and a very spacious accommodation.

We had a fantastic stay at the penthouse near the colosseum. The hosts were friendly and helpful during the check-in and planning process. Everything in the apartment was clean and worked well. The kitchen was great for cooking family meals. There were a number of restaurants and shops nearby. We so excited to stay in this home in Rome, and we were not let down at all!

There cannot be a better location in Rome! Literally you are staying at the base of Palatine Hill. We really enjoyed the view of Seagulls and Farrell parakeets flying over the ancient ruins. Lots of nice restaurants and provisions just outside. It was unusually quiet for its proximity to the sites.

We had a great stay here! The location is super convenient not only for the views and proximity to the Colosseum and Forum, but also for proximity to the Metro and other bus lines. We loved almost everything about the place especially the views and the nice kitchen but it’s definitely a place I’d rather come back to when it’s not peak summer heat. We did fine but the small twin bedroom doesn’t have AC and it was hot enough that with all 3 units working full time that room along with some other spaces stayed marginally warm most of the time we were there. One of our group opted to sleep in the living room on the very comfortable couch and it was nice and cool there. Alberto was very good about communication and we appreciated the free Nescafé coffee pods and laundry detergent to get us started on our first day.

From start to finish this apartment was the perfect location for our family to in Rome. Alberto was so kind and helpful. The view was just stunning. Great location, great stay!

Great stay steps away from the Colosseum. The apartment was exactly as advertised, very spacious with beautiful views from the balcony. Communication and check in process with the owner was easy and efficient. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property for a visit to Rome.

The apartment was clean, tidy and had everything that we needed. It was a great location and right in the middle of all the activity. It was close to the Colosseum and all the food places. My only complaint was that it is at the top floor (the 11th floor) and when we were there the elevator was broken and we had to track up 125 steps (yes, we counted) multiple times a day. The hosts were nice and available to answer questions and help when needed. Other than that it was a wonderful stay and we would stay there again.

What makes this property unique

This apartment is located in a very quiet area just 200 meters from the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. The apartment is in the heart of the Monti district, which is one of the most characteristic and beautiful neighborhoods of Rome's historic city centre. You can easily walk to many of Rome's most important landmarks. The apartment is also very close to the metro station "Colosseo" and to the bus station with the same name.
