Secluded in the trees off the beautiful Libby's Ridge, and no neighbors in sight, this 1BR, 1BA Log Cabin is a terrific couple's getaway for rest and relaxation. Hot tub on the cedar deck with professional weekly hot tub service. Two hammocks in season add to this great couple's getaway. Porch swing on the front porch and small Weber charcoal grill and firepit in back yard. Flat screen TVs in both the LR and bedroom. Comfortable queen bed in BR and full size futon in LR. Watch the stars at night from the hot tub and wake up to birds singing in the morning. You will want for nothing except you won't want to leave!

Really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was perfect. Just the right size for us. Loved the front porch, enjoyed relaxing in the hammock in the back yard. The hot tub was perfect after a day of biking on the C&O Canal Trail.

The place was nice and clean however I wish I would’ve known how secluded it was. It was beautiful and peaceful. I have become used to the city and would not recommend taking a sedan!

The cabin was clean and cozy. Just what I wanted for some relaxation. A little hard to find in the dark but the host took my calls and walked us through the exact location. Bed was comfy and well stocked with all the essentials of home. I will definitely go back for another stay, but longer. Sad to leave. Thanks for a wonderful weekend.

We had a great stay. Everything was as described- we wanted a quiet and relaxing trip, which we got. The owners responded in timely manner and gave is any info we needed or requested. We were not bothered at all. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because the AC dripped and that caused us to give time and effort to that, otherwise it was a great stay. Thanks

Lovely, private space!

This property was really lovely. Not too far from town and its shops and restaurants, but very private at the cabin. My partner and I were looking to get out of the city and away from people for a few ways, and this was perfect! The bed is comfortable, the kitchen well outfitted, and the out door spaces (hot tub, porch and fire pit) were very nice. The host provided all the information we needed to have a successful trip.

Relaxing Stay

Wonderful solitude for a relaxing stay. Comfortable bed and nice amenities. Able to enjoy the stars while in the hot tub or sitting around the fire ring. Great host.

Nice, secluded cabin

The cabin was cute and very private. We enjoyed the romantic getaway and would stay again. I would note that a bigger grill would have been a nice addition, but we managed with the mini grill.

Relaxing getaway

The cabin was very relaxing, clean and has all amenities listed. It is a close drive from town, but out and away from others. We would like to return in other seasons. The weather was beautiful for fall! Perfect for just 2!

Lovely tiny secluded cabin

Lovely cabin. Clean. Very secluded. Ful kitchen was a plus. Hot tub was wonderful. Only 10 min from town. Bed was comfortable with food pressure in shower. Even fouton couch was very comfortable and in good condition. With heavy rain there was a brown tint to the water.Over all very cozy and a lovely stay for 2.

Great visit to Berkeley Springs WV!!

Amazing New Years Getaway

The pictures don’t do justice to how great this place is! Tremendously cozy and out just was super accommodating ensuring we had the right directions as well as great list of things to do and restaurants to eat at. Will definitely be returning again soon!

Quiet getaway

Property was very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub. Saw lots of deer and turkeys. Only issue was the morning we were leaving a maintenance guy and the grass mowing guy showed up around 8 and 9 am. We would have liked to relax before we left, not feel rushed.

Great Getaway From City Life

my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time away from the DC area, and being secluded in the wilderness. The hot tub on the back deck was perfect, definitely the therapy we needed to reboot ourselves from months of hard work. The home was simple, but all at the same time everything we needed, and then some. The host made sure we had everything we needed. And thank you.

Peace, perfect peace (but close enough to other things)

The property is lovely and nicely tucked away. Plenty of facilities at the cabin and the tranquility was incredibly welcome. You could spend the whole time relaxing and seeing nobody. But…. It also boasts the town of Berkeley Springs a short distance away that provides shops and restaurants as well as being close to many other attractions and areas to visit. Well situated and connected with an excellent host. Would definitely visit again

LOVE this place!

If you want to get away and be on your own - this is the place! Do note: it is a 7 minute drive from the paved road to the house. We went in my husband's Mustang and had to drive slow because it's on a long gravel driveway on a long gravel road. But we would do it again in a heart beat. Complete privacy, Berkley Springs is relaxing and welcoming, and Cacapon State Park is beautiful (17 minute drive on a gravel road to get to the lookout spot, but we felt that was also worth it). The hostess was very responsive and helpful when we needed anything. Hoping we can go back again!

Amazing cabin in the woods

This is my second year staying here and it’s absolutely perfect. Peaceful and quaint. No one around. A ‘quiet’ I’ve never heard before. I got my Hemingway-on and wrote a ton. Barely left the cabin, really only to use the hot-tub. But Berkeley Springs is cute and I always find the best stocking stuffers at their little gift shops. And the Fairfax Coffee House is amazing.

Another fantastic getaway

This is the third time visiting Fox Hollow, we love it there! So peaceful, and just the exact thing we need to reset our lives. The host has made some updates since last year, the biggest being the installation of a new hot tub, and actual stairs to access hot tub, no more using a small step stool to get into hot tub. They have also replaced the fire ring, which on chilly fall evenings is nice to enjoy. We watched deer and squirrels enjoy the back yard. The property is approximately 15-20 from the town of Berkeley Springs, where there are so many things to do. We personally chose to stay at the cabin the entire time watching movies on the new smart tv installed in the bedroom, enjoying the porches and hot tub. So peaceful!

Secluded little getaway

Just a short 2 day stay at this adorable little cabin in the woods. My absolute favorite thing about this rental is the location. It's hard to find a rental that's private and quiet. Not too far from the main road, but far enough that you get to experience peace and privacy. Unfortunately, the hot tub was temporarily out-of-order (waiting for a part) but the communication with the owner was excellent. She went above and beyond to try and accommodate us before our trip. The one suggestion I would make is to get a more comfortable couch. The current one is very uncomfortable and as the only seating in the living room, could use an update. Other than that, this is the perfect little cabin getaway for 2.

Tranquil couples retreat

Jackie was quick to respond and was very attentive to our needs. Log cabin-type one bedroom had a comfortable queen bed, adequate day room/dining area, and well stocked full kitchen. Fouton sofa was a bit lumpy but adequate for tv viewing. All linens & towels were clean and plentiful. Would like to see linen bed sheets & pillow cases. Fabulous log ceiling swing in the front porch was used a lot. Very quiet. An occasional tree nut would fall on the tin porch roof and startle us as it was the only sound we often heard. Spacious front and rear lawn with beautiful pines outward. Hot tub got a good cleaning and Jackie will fix the thermostat/heater. My wife and I loved our week stay and will return for a weekender. Highly recommend Fox Hollow.

When my husband and I first went to Berkeley Springs after we were first married in 1976, we found the area to be energizing and relaxing all at the same time. We loved the area so much we went back many times to take in the waters and rent a cabin or stay with friends. In 1998, we saw a little farm house on precious land and a few months later, bought it. We called it Sky Mountain Farm. A few years after that, we built a 5BR, 4BA cedar chalet on Libby's Ridge near Fox Hollow but out of sight which we also rent to vacationers. We love the smell of the fresh wood exterior and interior and the secluded hot tub on the deck. There is no light pollution here, so one can see the stars really pop out. We hope you enjoy our Fox Hollow Log Cabin as much as we do.
