Not only is this mountain home beautiful inside and out but it's only 4 minutes from the base of Bald Mountain, Warm Springs side. Where you have 2 private parking spots reserved just for you and only steps away from the lifts. Or, enjoy endless miles of hiking and mountain biking trails.
This spectacular Warm Springs home provides an ideal balance of comfort and charm with modern accents. Amazing mountain views can be enjoyed from every room in the home and the hot tub out the back door.
This 5200 foot log home offers three bedrooms and a basement with 2 bunkbeds in the main home and a 900 foot apartment above the detached garage.
The large master suite is located on the second level, and provides beautiful mountain views having a king bed adjacent to the balcony. Directly off of the master suite, the spacious en-suite bath has a large bath tub, a large walk in steam shower, and walk-in closet.
Located on the main level are two guest rooms with queen size beds and en-suite baths. Plus, an office with 2 spacious desks, internet..
Above the garage, a private apartment provides an ideal option for a larger group. The apartment comes equipped with a comfortable seating area and kitchenette. To accommodate larger groups, the apartment has a full bath, a queen bed, and two sets of bunk beds for guest’s convenience.
The main level of the home provides a spacious living room accented and is well-appointed. Pinewood flooring and a gorgeous fireplace. A separate library and media room gives guests a chance to relax. Adjacent to the living room, the large dining area opens to a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with access to a beautiful flagstone patio.
The basement level offers a game room equipped with a flat screen TV, cozy seating area game tables. The game room also has two sets of bunk beds, a sleeper sofa, and a half bath.
This luxury log home sits on one acre of land with a hot tub, in the ground trampoline, outdoor fire pit and is available for both Winter and Summer rentals. Pets are allowed with a fee. Smoking is not permitted.

Great for a family get together.

We really enjoyed the property for a great family get-together. While the property is a few minutes further from Ketchum than I was thinking, it was actually just fine for getting back and forth. The property can accommodate lots of family members, with bunk beds for the kids. The kitchen/open area is a great spot to hang out. And the yard is especially great, with various activities available. We had a great time.

Wonderful summer vacation!

During summer 2021 my family and I spend two weeks in Warms Springs and the trip was everything we hoped for. This is truly a home, not just a rental property. The house is large, clean with tons of amenities - games, books, cooking supplies, extra linens. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful during our stay. The house is in a small neighborhood beyond downtown Ketchum. This was an ideal location for us, but be aware that downtown isn't within walking distance. We look forward to our next visit to Ketchum!

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was perfect for us. Spacious lot with very nice landscaping, close to the hot springs and very convenient to town while still feeling away from it all. The kids loved the trampoline and the basement game room. They also loved fishing on Penny Lake just a minute or so up the road. The kitchen was great for cooking big meals for our multi-gen crew, and there was enough space at the dining table for all of us. Thanks for a great stay!

The best VRBO ever

We had an incredible week at Board Ranch. The property is even more beautiful and spacious than the pictures suggest. This is a really special house. It’s beautifully decorated and yet super homey and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and we were happy cooking several meals there. The basement room is fantastic for kids- ping pong, foozball, and video games made for a perfect hang out area for our kids and their cousins, ages 9-21. The master bedroom is gorgeous and peaceful, and the huge closet and master bath were a treat. The living spaces are comfortable and connected enough to feel like you’re all together, but large and separate enough to allow everyone to spread out. The outdoor space is magical- tons of space for the kids and dogs to run, surrounded by trees and hills that make you feel like you’re worlds away from the hustle and bustle of tourist season in Ketchum! Communication with the owners was easy, expectations and houses rules were totally reasonable and clear. We really hope to stay at Board Ranch again soon!

The home is nicely laid out to accommodate many simultaneous indoor activities: reading, cooking, watching movies, playing board games, visiting together. It is close to fishing, shopping, gym activities, and dining out. We could not have asked for more.

Perfect winter getaway

The house is huge, great lay out for a multi family getaway! Kitchen is stocked with every appliance you could possibly need! Amazing fire place and dining area! Fun basement full of games etc! Clean hot tub! Overall had a GREAT experience staying here, Scott was wonderful and very responsive to our every question or need! Our flight even got cancelled and he offered to let us stay an additional night if needed! 100% recommend and will stay here again in the future

Perfect Pandemic Getaway

Great home with all the amenities, most notably, fantastic internet connection so that all five of us could do our meetings. Close to skiing and restaurants (though we only did takeout) and just easy to be in. Would definitely stay again.

Great communication with the host, but because Sun Valley got shut down before we went, we never were able to stay at the home. We were fully reimbursed - very thankful!

Beautiful home, perfect for extended families

Beautifully decorated home, perfect for a large group. Kitchen is stocked for cooking gourmet meals. Superb layout for an extended family (we put one couple in master, one couple in garage apartment, one couple in first floor bedroom, eight kids in the basement bunk room and/or the additional bedroom) with lots of different common spaces so we never felt as if we were in a tight space. Owner was highly responsive to all of our needs; the icing on the cake was the beautiful Christmas tree in the living room and the holiday decorations all over the house! The home is beautifully maintained and spotless with heated floors and a large fireplace for perfect wintertime vacations. Couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the holidays with family. Easy access (short drive) to Warm Springs base.

House is awesome! It has great decor, spacious, very comfortable. A few more coffee cups and bath towels would've be helpful. Yard is amazing! Love the patio and fire pit! Our stay at Board Ranch was wonderful. The house and grounds exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was amazing and a delight to cook in. The huge yard was a perfect place to hang out, play and relax. Scott was friendly and easy to communicate with. We hope to return for another stay at his Board Ranch hide-a-way:-)

A very nice house in a very nice location

We went up to Sun Valley for the first time, and met up with some friends there (none of whom had been there before). The house was expensive, but essentially we got what we paid for. The kitchen and living room are very large and open, and easily accommodated our large group. Everything was clean, tidy, and functional, as you would expect. The yard was well groomed, and large - we set up a volleyball net with space to spare, and the kids had a great time on the in-ground trampoline. The extra space above the garage was very useful as well. Bed space was good, again, accommodating our large group just fine. Outdoor grill worked well and is reasonably sized. Garage accommodates two large vehicles (ours are 7+ feet tall), and is very neat. Hot tub was very nice as well, and games, etc. ample. House sits in the middle of two fairly tall hills (roughly 2400' elevation gain from the house), and at night the stars are really something, as light pollution is at a minimum. The house is far enough removed from town (3-4 miles) to enjoy the solitude, but near enough to run down to the grocery store in fairly short order (10-15 min). The neighborhood was quiet (well, at least before we got there...), although there was some construction going on during the day (but that was not bothersome). A few minor nits (that do not detract from the 5 star rating): - the land line phone didn't work at first - we informed the owner of this issue, and he stopped by with a functioning phone the next day. (By the way, the cell service at the house was poor - we have Verizon. However, we noted that if you drove down the road around half a mile or maybe a mile, the service was adequate) - refrigerator space - we could have used more. Although the fridge in the house is pretty big, our large group needed more. There is a very small fridge in the quarters above the garage, but it is too small to be of much practical use for primary storage. A suggestion would be a supplemental fridge perhaps in the garage. - upstairs master bedroom - great room, very spacious and beautiful, but it has no door - once you get up the stairs, you are in it. From a sound perspective, would be nice to have some sort of barrier, so the kids don't wander upstairs and disturb anyone... - the light switches in the living room/kitchen are hard to figure out, both location and which is which - we never did get it quite figured out. Some labels (like the front entry panel) would help.
