This one bedroom apartment was designed for travelers that want to step out of their normal reality and into a peaceful and relaxing studio with built in art works by acclaimed (local) artist and designer Jon McCoy along with all the comforts of home.

This peaceful escape comes with off-street parking, spacious living area, wifi, a bar and kitchenette. The bathroom has a large walk in shower, not a bathtub. The apartment is located 200 steps away from the Old Jail and a 2 to 4 minute walk to the local, bars, pubs, restaurants and the Mauch Chunk Opera House.

What a lovely place to stay. The owner was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The property is much more then we expected. Go out at night after dark and look up behind the parking area. Beautiful. We will be back for sure.

The Art Studio is a beautiful and unique space in the perfect location to explore Jim Thorpe. Jeffery made check-in super easy and was very easy to communicate with.He also had a ton of recommendations of things to do and places to eat in the area, much appreciated!The bed was very comfy and the kitchen nicely furnished with everything needed.The bathroom was huge with a big walk-in shower. The whole place was spotless. With parking at a premium in town, it was great to be in walking distance to all the main attractions.Would definitely stay there again!

I was happy to stay in the High Street Guest house apartments again! This was a different apartment than I had used last stay and everything was great. The parking is easy at the property and the house keeps you just up the street from all the shops and is a great walk to and from town! Everything was clean and upkeep was great. I am drawn to Jim Thorpe and to the Pocono's in general and am very glad to live in this amazing town surrounded by the ever changing Appalachian landscape. You cannot beat the endless miles of mountain biking and hiking trails, or the tubing, kayaking, skirmish, yoga, skiing, rivers, lakes, and fishing or the cultural and historical attractions. So close to the major east coast cities, yet worlds away!

Why they chose this property

The property is a quick walk to the Mauch Chunk Opera House as well as the restaurants, bars and attractions that this historic town has to offer. the Art Studio is located about 250 feet away from my own home, so i will be nearby if you need me...
