This place is such a gem. Quiet, clean, and charming, and unique. It’s so cute and has everything you need. For me, one of the best things is that it is dog friendly. It has a great private patio. It’s close to all of the attractions and Chad is extremely helpful. I highly recommend it.

Imagine a spacious, stylish, cozy and comfortable treehouse complete with a spalike bathroom and all the creature comforts you could want. That's what it was like to stay in this storybook getaway in the heart of Jim Thorpe where you can easily walk all over town and sample great restaurants, shops, and other attractions. Carve out some time during your stay to relax on the deck and watch the clouds dance over the hills, as well as spin some records on the record player inside. The Lehigh Gorge State Park is a very short drive away, and you can walk to the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway for a lovely train ride and the Asa Packer Mansion Museum for a guided tour.

Wonderful location!

We were pleasantly surprised by location and the apartment itself. Only complaint is we didn't book it for a longer stay. Highly recommend especially if traveling with a furry friend

This spot is a complete gem! Perfect for a couple who wants to get away in the quiet (but lots to do town) of Jim Thorpe. An easy walk to all of downtown, and a quick drive to the hiking/biking/water sports spots. The service from the owners was fantastic, and its clear they care very much about both the property and their town.

Great spur of the moment getaway

Apartment D was wonderful. It was wonderful inside and the outside space was fantastic. Having a parking space was also in valuable. Jeffery was very responsive and extremely helpful with recommendations of restaurants and activities.

Amazing stay and amazing host

This property far exceeded our expectations. Perfect location and adorable apartment. Everything here was perfect for us. The host was easily accessible and accommodating. He was hands down the best host I’ve encountered on VRBO. Jeff gave us a list of locals activities as well as local restaurants. I will definitely stay here again. The place is dog friendly too, which is even more of a bonus.

Outstanding! We have the best time and coming “home” at 221 High Street was a delight. The extra care that went into furnishings (touch lighted mirror, floor warmer, sauna) and the personal touch of. Coffee & creamer) etc. so much more. This place was amazing, and we can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful Stay

This was our third year staying in Apartment D and we have already booked for next year. Chad & Jeffrey are amazing hosts. Their apartment is clean, eclectic, and very comfortable. We love that we can bring our dog and that there is such great outdoor space. We always enjoy relaxing by the fire in the chimney to unwind. The location is ideal and the steam shower is the perfect way to end a day of walking around town. See you next year…

The apartment is gorgeous, the kitchen has everything you may need, the porch has a great view, and the location is super convenient as long as you don’t mind the short uphill walk as you come back from downtown (it was nothing to me but my friend with joint issues needed a quick break). We were allowed to park on the property early so we walked right across the street for the Old Jail tour until check in. We didn’t expect to need the washer and dryer until we did so thankfully detergent was provided. The Roku tv was convenient as well. The only thing we’d like to see added is throw blankets to get cozy while watching tv. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family.

This Vrbo one bedroom apartment was the perfect place to see the town of Jim Thorpe. It was located on a side street right in town. The location was very peaceful and walking distance to the train station and other attractions. It had an outdoor deck and patio that was well kept with a small water fountain. The shower was amazing and the overall setting was so unique, with an artistic flare. The apartment was clean and had a washer and dryer and the kitchen was well stocked. Really everything you needed for a short stay. The host and maintance staff were easy to reach and kept the property in great condition. Convenient to shopping, dinning, gas and grocery store. Highly Recommended!!!!
