Very nice place. Van and Nick were great and super friendly. We had quite a chaotic stay in Washington but they were always super helpful if we needed anything. Highly recommend

When we checked in, there was no information provided about the unit. We had some safety concerns with the pathway to the unit. There is a long walk down to the unit on a dirt path and it was slick since it was wet. The listing should mention that it is not accessible for those with disabilities. There was no external lighting on the path and the porch light did not work, so we had to navigate with our phone flashlights. The deadbolt did not work from the inside, nor with the key on the outside. The listing includes a washer/dryer, but it was not in the unit. When we asked about it, we were told that the second key provided was to the laundry in the other building. This information should have been provided at check-in. We found the beds uncomfortable and had a terible nights sleep. Although the host was responsive, we were not comfortable in this unit and left after one night and had paid for three. It was a very costly and unsatisfactory experience in Des Moines.

All check-in details are provided through Vrbo prior to arrival, and we would have gladly cleared up any confusion or questions. Unfortunately, we were not given a chance to address or correct concerns during the stay, most of which could have been resolved immediately. Clear communication before departure would have allowed us to help. We always aim to provide a great experience through open communication, and we wish this guest the very best in their future travels.
