Modern Urban Tiny House w/ 2BR near Airport and Transportation-Private Setting

Brand new tiny house close to Sea-Tac airport, major freeways like I-5, I-405 and public transportation. Full size kitchen and bathroom with modern design. Comfortable beds and beautiful landscape.

The space

Our tiny house will make you feel right at home. It is modern, efficient, and comfortable.

The house is located in our backyard, gravel parking pad for your vehicle. Smart lock will provide each guest with their unique code to enter the property. If you arrive with more than one car, we have plenty of on street parking space. The property is under surveillance 24/7 for your safe stay.

INTERIOR:

There are two lofts – both queen size and a full size futon for 5 people to stay comfortably.

The heat pump will keep the place cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Two oversized windows provide lots of natural light and make the space look more open.

Kitchen is fully equipped with full size gas stove, refrigerator, water kettle, toaster and everything you need to cook and eat in. Dining table can host 6 people comfortably. Complimentary snacks, water, tea and coffee are available upon your arrival.

Bathroom has a shower and residential toilet. Hand soap, 3-in-1 shampoo, shower gel, and bubble bath will be provided.

Lofts can be access by steep ladders. If you are not comfortable with ladders and low ceiling height – this is NOT the place for you.

NO SMOKE or VAPE inside the house. If you do need to smoke, please do so outside or your deposit will be taken.

NO SHOES inside the house. Slippers are provided.

EXTERIOR

Our backyard is private and well maintained. The brand new cedar deck will extend your tiny living outside. Our location is close to Safeway, Fred Meyer, Seven Eleven, Starbucks, Subway and many restaurants.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Very clean, just like the pictures, and adorable! Perfect size for me and a friend. The bathroom is bigger than you might expect which was nice! Overall I’d love to come again!

Great tiny home and Vi and Tri were excellent with communication. You have to be comfortable staying in someone's backyard essentially, maybe a little privacy fencing might help to separate the two properties. The roominess was excellent and we cooked breakfast with no problem and had plenty of space to move about inside (two adults separate beds). It is a bit of a hike from downtown Seattle, and the light rail is a bit away from this location also. All in all - exactly as advertised.

Wonderful to experience "Tiny Home" living!

Great location for our needs. Well equipped. I chose this home specifically for the experience of staying in a tiny home. I love how practical it would be for one person full time. My friend that stayed with me also enjoyed the tiny home, especially the size of the bathroom. It was great for the both of us for the weekend! :) Our hosts were very communicative and gracious. Good experience

It was fun to experience a tiny house!Everything in the home was very nice—basically hotel quality. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed listening to the rain falling on the house while we slept. I liked that they kept the bed linens simple, but they were adequate. The temperature was good and easy to regulate as well. Our check-in process was rocky, as we didn’t have the instructions until after we arrived. The hot water in the shower worked well the first time and the water pressure was great. The second day, we could not get it above warm and that was with the sink running, which took away from the shower water pressure. We were in a hurry to leave and didn’t have time to contact the property managers for help. We also wondered if there was a way to turn off the lights in the yard around the house to make it darker inside for sleeping. It was still a good experience and I recommend it to others!

This tiny house was so cute! We found ourselves frustrated with an alarm installed inside this house, that is easily set off and hard to avoid. There were directions on how to avoid the alarm, but even attempting to follow these directions, we would inevitably set off the alarm. We only used this facility to sleep. This listing says it sleeps five, and with three of us, it was a bit cramped (with the understanding this is a tiny house! It’s meant to be small!) the two full beds in the loft didn’t seem fit for two people to share, and there were no sheets or pillow for the couch/fold down bed. I’m sure if I would’ve reached out, the hosts would be happy to provide bedding! But we were there for a wedding and had a very hectic weekend. Never thought to ask until it was much too late at night.

Our experience was great! The location is perfect, it felt safe and private. It’s minimalistic and has all the necessities. It helped make our stay in Washington even more enjoyable. The homeowners were easy to reach and answered all our questions. We would definitely stay again!!

Tiny House in Des Moines

Lovely tiny house. The Good: Vi and Tri, the owners, are WONDERFUL! Tiny house was very clean. The TH is directly on the SeaTac flight path so you do hear the planes. My wife and I love to sit and watch the planes so this was a bonus for us. Starbucks/Safeway/laundromat is a 15 min walk. Angle Lake Link Train station is an additional 15 min walk. Downtown Des Moines (towards the water) is about a 20 min + walk. Some wonderful places to eat there! Anthony's is right on the water and has a great deck. Very good security to enter the TH and we felt safe in the neighbourhood. Uber is about $20 to the rental car facility. The TH is well equipped. The not quite as good. The TH is tiny so more than 2 adults would make it 'cozy'. In summer, don't forget to turn the kitchen tap on hot for a shower (Tri informed of this). No laundry in the TH. If you are a 'get up in the night to go to the bathroom' type, either sleep on the fold out couch or sleep in the loft with stairs, not the loft with a ladder. Would we stay again.....absolutely!!!!

This was our first time experiencing a tiny house and it definitely didn’t disappoint! Despite being in someone’s backyard, it was very private. The entire place was spotless clean and everything was clearly labeled. My only complaint was there wasn’t much space to put your bags-which is understood because it’s a tiny house, I just wish they had a small storage area so our bags weren’t in the way. But besides that-I would definitely reccomend this adorable tiny house for your next vacation!

The perfect little getaway!

My husband and I rented this property for a weekend trip to Seattle. It was absolutely perfect! Even though it is on the owner’s property, it’s at the back and feels very private. The house is immaculate and has wonderful amenities. One of my favorite things is that the bathroom is actually a really good size. The kitchen was stocked with the necessary equipment, and even has a great tea and coffee selection. We will definitely be renting again the next time we are in Seattle! We had always wanted to see what tiny house living would be like, and this was the perfect opportunity. You won’t regret your stay here!

The place is really lovely--clean, modern, updated. Everything has just the right spot. We drove to the nearby Angle Lake station and easily rode the metro into the city. A great way to see Seattle and save a little on accommodation. Des Moines itself doesn't offer a lot of dining options (although we really enjoyed Wally's Chowder House). Free off-street parking, close to Sea-Tac--but getting in and out of the loft beds is something to be aware of for anyone with any mobility concerns. A great find.

Our location is close to airport and public transportation, as well as major freeways. The tiny house is located in our backyard and far away from the main house, with a private setting.
