Perfect for families and pets, this cabin offers year-round comfort. Explore nature, relax by the fire, or unwind in the hot tub after a day of adventure. A perfect retreat for year-round getaways! A four-wheel drive (4x4) vehicle is recommended for winter.
The entire main floor is accessible via a ramp in the front. Rolling into the house you will first hit the vestibule. To your left is the rollable, fully accessible bathroom. The bathroom has a roll in shower with a seat, grab bars everywhere, and a six foot long multi-purpose counter. Also attached to the bathroom on the main floor is the main bedroom. As you move into the main living area, off to the right is the living room with a propane fireplace. Moving toward the left, you will run into the dining room, straight-ahead. As one looks left, they will find the kitchen, with plenty of dishes and cooking implements, and a hand hammered copper farmhouse sink.
In the basement, there is a large open game room with a sofa couch and television. The laundry lives in a closet off the main room. Behind a partition in the main room is a set of bunk beds (twin xl over queen). As you move left through the basement room, you will find another bedroom with a queen bed. Across the hall is the bathroom with standup shower. Off the other side of the bathroom is the poker room with seating for eight.
Please note that we do have a doorbell camera located at the front door.
Our favorite things about the cabin are the wrap around deck in the back that over looks an acre of wooded property in the winter time that has a view of the lake, waking up and looking out the window watching the deer walk through the property, the four minute drive to the lake, the hand hammered copper sink, and the overall cozy feel of the cabin.

The cabin was comfortable with a lot of room for a family. The owners are attentive and accommodating. Good location with a very short drive to some of the area's best restaurants. I would stay here again in the future.
We had the best time! Would highly reccomend this cabin for a homey chill neat getaway !!!!! It was magical with the snow and the hot tub! Pictures don’t do it justice it’s so much better in person !!!!! It’s really set up to be able to go and check out while you’re there! Plus the hosts were so kind and helpful with our stay !
We stayed 3 nights over spring break with 2 kids and a dog. Very quite and cozy area just a few minutes from whatever you might need. Like a previous guess we had issue with the front door code, but Ben called me within minutes and got me a new code that worked. Also the hottub was being maintenanced during our arrival which caused the upstairs to have no water pressure, which worried us, but a quick call to Ben and he let us know they would be done in a few minutes. From that point on we had no further issues and had a wonderful stay and would absolutely stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The unique hexagonal shape made it feel cozy and special, and the open layout was perfect for the kids—they had so much fun playing tag and hide-and-seek. Everything was well kept and comfortable. We even saw a family of deer walk on the property on Sunday morning. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. It was the perfect spot for our family to relax and make great memories.
Property is located within 15 minutes of most shops, restaurants and lake activities. We traveled with our 2 dogs and the basement area was a great spot for them to hang out. We had issues with the front door and property host was very easy to get in touch with and fix the issue within minutes. Would definitely stay again.
My husband, daughter and I had an amazing stay at this beautiful hexagonal log cabin in Deep Creek! The cabin was incredibly spacious and had such a warm, inviting atmosphere. The fireplace was perfect for cozy nights in, and the hot tub was a fantastic way to unwind after a day of exploring. We also loved the selection of fun board games—perfect for family nights! The location couldn’t have been better; it was so close to everything—restaurants, shops, and outdoor activities. This cabin truly had it all, and we can’t wait to return for another stay!
A beautiful, well cared-for home! Great common space for a group, particularly with kids. Loved spending time at the fire pit as well. Host was very responsive. Only complaints were that it seemed like someone had accidentally unloaded a dirty dishwasher, so there were a bunch of dirty dishes on arrival. Also, the railing on the beautiful porch was not toddler friendly. But these were two relatively minor things for an otherwise amazing house!
I am a manual wheelchair user and we chose to stay at this property because of the wheelchair ramp and accessible bathroom. The property did not disappoint! The accessible features were great and the property itself was beautiful. We stayed in mid-May and saw many deer around the cabin. It was a great, quiet location, with the relaxation that we were looking for.The host was great about communication and checking in with us. They really want their guests to enjoy the cabin and have a great time! The cabin was well stocked with necessities and comfortable furnishings. If we're ever back in Deep Creek, we will consider staying here again!
We hail from California and Washington State by way of several US cities, we found ourselves, Ben, Nicole, our two kids, and our Standard Schnauzer Bentley, settling down in Maryland, just outside of Washington DC. We purchased this home as an easier way to vacation as our son is non-ambulatory and uses a wheelchair and other devices to access the wold around him. We want to share with you our home away from home, and we hope that you and your loved ones enjoy the cabin as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
We love the private lane, the view of the lake in fall and winter, and how central the cabin is to everything.
What makes this property unique
It's a hexagon. It's a log cabin. It's in the woods with a view of the lake.
