Southpoint Cottage was a wonderful home. It was clean, close to a Publix and multiple restaurants. It was also a very friendly neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Relaxing, easy and comfortable!

Great time with Family

It was very much more enjoyable than having a a hotel room.I know it was appreciated by all 6 of usA small glitch was I had specifically asked for an iron for it was especially needed to help our clothes to attend a funeral which was not on site

Brief stay for family reunion

We selected this home for the location, number of rooms and baths and nice interior and amenities. The home did not disappoint. There were 3 couples so the 3 bedrooms worked out well. The one bedroom disappointment was the queen bedded room advertised is actually A double so that was unexpected upon arrival.The kitchen was very well equipped which was very much appreciated!The decor was very beachy, and everything was immaculate and clean.We would definitely recommend this rental and if we ever return to the Villages, would look to rent it again..

A Wonderful Weekend in a Fantastic Home

My son, my grandson and I enjoyed a fantastic 3 night stay at Southpoint Cottage. The home and amenities were pretty much as indicated in the online pictures and written description. The only exception was there was no outdoor gas grill even though one had been shown in the online pictures. My first day there, I spoke with the Management team and with Mark, the designated maintenance person. Mark was very responsive and said that a new gas grill would be in place within about 2 hours. That was exactly true when we arrived back to the home later that day. My compliments and thanks to the homeowner, Village Valet and to Mark for their prompt handling of this issue. The gas grill was integral in the birthday celebration for my brother that I had planned for one of the evenings of our stay. Everything was exactly as I had hoped for, or even better. I am looking forward to my next visit and I would strongly consider staying at Southpoint Cottage again. Thank you for a fantastic weekend.

Plusses and Minuses

The house itself was very nice, clean, and conveniently located. And it had a terrific large TV for watching March Madness and a very nice gas grill.. The kitchen, however, needs to be better stocked with utensils and the backyard with its dead plants due to the recent frost and unattractive artificial plants was not very attractive. The Village Valet, which managed the property, was very responsive and helpful.
