Very clean. Quiet and peaceful. Bed was very comfortable. Suggestion would be to have notebook on how to turn on globe lights in front. Would have been helpful to have a hair dryer. Host was very quick to respond.

Hi Sandy, thanks for your review. We do have a hair dryer, sorry you didn't see it in the bathroom. We also mentioned in a direct message that there was a button to turn the globe lights on.
Clean and inviting little 1 bedroom set among the Redwoods. Beautiful, cozy site.

The host was fabulous, friendly and helpful—on site at check in. We wanted to be in the midst of redwoods. Truly happy! Under the canopy of great majestic redwoods. Private, secluded but convenient for eating out
The hosts absolutely nailed this place down to the details to make any guest feel welcome. Truly a gem tucked away in the trees. Would 100% stay here again, and so should you.
The cabin and the experience were exceptional. Great location, setting, and the cabin had everything we needed. Likewise, the cabin was very clean and communication with the host was very easy. I can't recommend this place enough!
Jon and Jessica's place was lovely and secluded, despite being very close to town. Awesome location and a great place to unwind for the weekend. Home itself was clean and had everything we needed. Thanks!
Perfect weekend get away! The host was exceptional. The house is nestled on a hillside under the canopy of thick redwoods. Well maintained and very clean. If you are looking for quiet and peace, this is the place.
The treehouse is a private and quiet oasis that sit behind tall trees. It was such a serene and relaxing place to recharge. The host was exceptionally responsive and very welcoming. Would recommend if you are looking for a reset.
Beautiful forest bathing amidst the powerful redwood trees. Loved the outdoor patio space. John dreamed of climbing the redwoods while reading a good book. Peaceful timeless positive energy. The house was very clean and inviting for a relaxing stay. Enjoyed a quiet walk through the neighborhood.
Best: Perfectly quiet; very clean; very comfortable bed; full kitchen & sitting areas outsideSuggestions: if leaving coffee & creamer in property for guests, check expiration dates. Creamer was off & very out datedGreat door for quiet get away s as long as you can manage stairs. As advertised. Enjoyed!

Hi Shannon, we are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at our place for you anniversary. We are also happy to hear that you enjoyed the bottle of wine, snacks, and complimentary offerings that we gave you. We are very sorry to hear that the coffee creamers were slightly out of date - although this does not seem like a suitable reason to deduct a point from your review. We would have been more than happy to bring you some fresh organic half and half if you had messaged us during your stay. Reminder, we are a small business, not a corporation, and our livelihood is made from accurate reviews that correctly reflect the quality of your stay. In the future when reviewing private households with minor issues that you experienced, please keep this in mind.
Very nice accommodations. Good use of space for the small cottage- perfect for 2 people. Well equipped kitchen to prepare our own meals. The ONLY issue was no cell service and the WiFi was temperamental. Very gracious hosts. Would stay here again in spite of the connectivity issues.

Hi Audrey, thanks for your feedback. In this instance, unfortunately it seems like a case of user error for your connectivity issues. We have fiber quality internet, and 3 range extenders (all with the same password, as we described to you when you checked in) that service the entire quarter acre our property exists on, including the rustic redwood levels at the top of our land. I have done speed tests all over our property and we have a minimum speed of 100 up/down, which is more than enough to run everyone's devices. We appreciate your sharing your concerns though, and look forward to hosting you again in the future :)
The bed & linens were nice and comfortable. It was an extremely beautiful environment and they seemed to stock the place thoughtfully with things you might need. Appreciated having a washer & dryer in the unit. My son enjoyed the pull out sofa bed & it was easy to use & put away. There are a lot of steps, so I wouldn’t recommend it for those with walking difficulties, but it was so peaceful & wonderful to be surrounded by the trees. Would absolutely stay again. So close to the Armstrong Redwood state park which we loved visiting! There is even a cute pee wee golf course and playground on the same street.
This was the perfect personal retreat, a little getaway from the city quietly tucked away in the forest. This cabin had all the amenities I needed for the weekend. It was warm and cozy. The entire home was immaculately clean and well arranged. I loved having the forest just a step away from the bedroom. I could live there forever and I would highly recommend this cabin for a solo or couple's retreat.
The treehouse was adorable, beautifully renovated well taken care of and cozy to stay in. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the place, thinking it would be much smaller than it actually was. Great and prompt responses and communication with the owners. Convenient parking. Cozy and cute outdoor area to have coffee or wine.A little musty smelling, and the extra blanket found in the round storage, basket in the living the room had a musty/moldy smell. Would recommend bringing an extra warm blanket, even though there is good heating available there, I prefer using a blanket over, turning on the heat. All in all a lovely place to stay, and great location for hiking the redwoods or kayaking, the Russian river!
Our property is setup on a 1/4 acre of redwoods nestled deep in a canyon off of the Russian River. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with many different types of Japanese maples, bamboo species, and seasonal plants to compliment the towering redwoods. Time spent here is incredibly quiet and relaxing.
