We always enjoy staying at this cabin. Location is ideal for walking downtown or jumping over to ponderosa for a hike. All the amenities are there for a long weekend stay.
The cabin was just perfect. It had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water! We would definitely stay again.
We are repeat visitors who love this home. Proximity to downtown, the golf course winter walks, and Ponderosa State Park makes this great home the perfect choice for us. Thank you owners.
The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and perfect walking distance to town and to Ponderosa Park. It has everything you need for a quick get away!
It was so comfortable for three adults and two littles. Stayed cool inside despite the hot days. Short walk to a city beach. We felt very at ease in this house and neighborhood.
Arthur and Jill were great hosts. The location was awesome, we were close enough to town that we could ride bikes or walk. The negative was the place was dirty. It's an old place which is fine but the furniture and flours were filthy. Next time I will spend the extra money for something cleaner.

Picture is deceiving!
Location and little cabin’s space were great BUT both the front and back decks were totally unusable. They obviously hadn’t been swept since last summer, if then and were stacked with sleds(it was July) and other misc. junk.. The grass had not been mowed since last year, so the yard was unusable and full of mosquitos due to it’s length. The 2 bathrooms had exactly 12 squares of toilet paper between both and there were no extra rolls and there was no bar soap in the place, only one small hand wash bottle in one bathroom. It met our needs for space and location, but for the price, really could use some TLC. It could and should have been so much nicer.

We are so sorry you did not enjoy our cabin. This was completely our fault. Clearly both our normal and back up spring transition methods did not work. We will do our best to make sure that this does not happen in the future. We hope that in contrast to all the other positive reviews, you can see that this was a one-time occurrence and that we strive to have folks enjoy our cabin as much as we do. For people reading this, unexpected things do happen, and we enjoin anyone to reach out to us to let us know immediately if they are not happy. We have people in McCall who can fix things for us. For instance, the water heater once failed and we dealt with that immediately and the people who were staying left happy despite the incident. So, please reach out and we will try our best to make things right. We never try to deceive anyone, but rather try to communicate as transparently as possible what our cabin is like. Our sincere apologies, again, that we failed in this instance.
Great cabin in town to unwind after Snowboarding. Throw some logs on the fire, relax, chill and eat, sleep and repeat. Full kitchen, for making grub, snacks. For families I saw lots of games, puzzles etc.
We enjoyed our stay very much! The property is close to town which made getting last minute necessities convenient. We enjoyed the smart tv with Apple TV access (and all the others) so we could enjoy some movies by the fire. My only suggestion would be to leave more trash bags (there was only one extra for our stay).
First time in McCall and we had a great time. Really appreciated the well-appointed kitchen and the ability to cook our own food as we learned eating out in McCall is a feat of patience! Enjoyed some visits from local deer in the woods behind the cabin. Perfect location for walk into town, exploring the State Park, or even a round of golf!
We had a great time in this cozy cabin. We were able to walk to downtown McCall and it was an easy drive to Ponderosa State Park. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us.
Had a great time here. The cabin feels pretty secluded and it’s only a short walk away from restaurants, shops, and the lake. Very clean with lots of space. I would defiantly come back. :)
What a great little cabin! It was perfect for my husband and I and our 2 dogs. My husband really enjoyed the wood burning stove. It was so close to Ponderosa State Park, we went both days of our trip. The deer were so fun to see walking down the street in front of the house, we even saw tracks in the yard. We would love to come back in the summer or fall. The cabin is a great "home base" for exploring.
Our family of 4 really enjoyed this cozy family cabin. Our son (age 11) loved the private “sunroom” with half bath, and our daughter (Age 9) loved the cool loft. It snowed the entire time we were there, and the kids played out on the quiet street in the snow and the private area behind the cabin. We loved how close it was to town, along with the wood burning stove, game table in the sunroom, and fully stocked (older but clean) kitchen! We found everything we needed to make a birthday cake to celebrate our daughter’s birthday.
