In winter, the cabin's prime location makes it an ideal base for mountain adventures, with everything you need just minutes away when you're ready to head out and explore. Payette Lake is less than half a mile away — an easy stroll for a morning swim, an afternoon of paddleboarding and kayaking, or simply sitting by the water and doing absolutely nothing at all. Ponderosa State Park is less than three miles northeast for hiking, mountain biking, swimming, and fishing in summer, and snowshoeing and Nordic skiing when winter arrives.
