Game room with pool, darts, foosball, and an 86-inch TV. Kayaks, cornhole, firepit, and a putting green just outside the door.

We're an Oklahoma family that fell hard for Lake Eufaula, and Anchors Away is our way of sharing it with other folks who appreciate a slower pace. We've spent years on this lake — boating, watching the sun drop behind the trees — and we host because we love seeing guests have the kind of weekend that makes them book again before they've even left. We're hands-on when you need us and out of your way when you don't. If you've got a question about the lake, the area, or the best place to grab dinner, just ask.

Why they chose this property

Texanna is the quiet side of Lake Eufaula. While the marina end gets busy in season, this stretch stays peaceful — fewer wakes, darker skies at night, and the kind of shoreline where you can actually hear the water. It's still close enough to everything you'd want (boat ramps, bait shops, a few good local spots to eat), but it doesn't feel crowded. For us, that's the whole point of coming to the lake — getting away from the noise without giving up the things that make a trip easy.

What makes this property unique

Anchors Away sits on top of a hill on the water, with lake views that do most of the work for us. Mornings on the deck with coffee, evenings watching the sun go down over the cove — those are the moments guests tell us they remember. It's set up for the way people actually use a lake house: easy access to the water, plenty of room to spread out, and a layout that works whether it's a couple looking to unplug or a group of friends planning a weekend on the boat.
