While we regret any guest no enjoying their unit to the utmost, it is a puzzle why they've given us a mediocre review. We received not a single complaint nor comment during her entire stay. she left nothing constructive for us to address here, so we ask any readers to consider this review in perspecitve and instead check review (pro and con) which provide good consumer advocasy details. And for future hosts...you don't want this guest at your place.

This is a quiet, clean, and comfortable place to stay at reasonable cost. Comfy bed. Parking is easy. That said, the facility is tired and dated. The unit I was in could use a few more dishes, and it would have been nice to have been provided a little salt & pepper. It was fine for my purposes as I used it primarily for sleeping. I appreciated how quiet it was.

We arrived in Maui and appreciated the ease in finding the property and detailed check-in instructions. We were visiting friends that live on the haiku side of Maui so location was great for us.

Great location for Road to Hana!

We stayed here to be closer to Road to Hana and it was a perfect location! Close to restaurants in Haiku and Pa'ia. The wall mount A/C had trouble keeping the apartment cool, so the provided box fan was a great addition. We were also able to take advantage of the evening breeze to cool things off. Owner was very responsive and helpful when we had booking questions.

Haleakala Base Camp

The property is in a quiet, somewhat far-removed location from your typical Maui tourist traps, which made it perfect for us. Close to Paia, which is the official start of the Haleakala climb. Great location for riding out to Hana, as well. The host was very responsive and satisfied some special requests. Worth the lower cost compared to other nearby properties.

The property was okay. The property manager was super friendly and quickly responded to my inquiries. We initially had a difficult time getting through the wood fence to access our unit, luckily my husband was tall enough to reach over to release the latch. The unit was also very hot when we arrived, so be sure to arrive early enough to start the AC unit prior to sleeping if you want a good night sleep.

Before renting ask for current pictures with date stamp.We rented based on the Listing Owner's pictures which are Light, bright and inviting.What we actually encountered was unit that was Dull, Drab and Depressing.

Worst guest of the year. First guest to ever complain about a 100% renovation. He got a brand new kitchen with all new appliances, new paint, he checked in fine and Andy with no complaints, then left one day at random without calling, messaging, or otherwise alerting us demanding a refund. I have since reported him to the RBO. WARNING: Future hosts avoid this individual.
