Cozy and clean second floor studio with ocean view and a full kitchen. California king bed and queen sleeper sofa. Free wifi 5g. We are on the second/top floor with the vaulted ceiling, so you won't be bothered by noise because no one is above you; with a/c and ceiling fan as well. Beach gear, with a huge pool, hot tub and tennis court within the complex. Clean and good size laundry facility as well. Beach town dining and shopping just down the road, and 10 miles from Kahului for major chain store shopping. There is a view of the fishpond, windmills and whale sanctuary. Kihei road is busy during the day. Public transportation is nearby for those who prefer not to drive. There playgrounds and beaches nearby to enjoy, as well as an outdoor rollerskating rink, and the Kealia Pond national wildlife refuge. So many things to do in beautiful Kihei, all nearby for your pleasure.

We have cookware, hair dryer, utensils, dishes, cups, a steam iron, toaster, coffee maker, beach gear, DVD player, tv, cable, internet, blankets, pillows, bath and beach towels, and a security screen door so that now you can open the entry door and allow the wonderful maui breeze to flow through all day and night.

Convenient location, comfortable stay & reasonable price

We had a short stay (3 nights) with a lot of driving to see the island. This rental was comfy and has all you will need to make simple meals and get some R & R after a day of exploring beautiful Maui.

The location of this property is fantastic — close to beautiful beaches, great local spots, and a vibrant area to explore. Unfortunately, the cleanliness fell short of expectations, with some areas (including the shower, sheets, and sink) not as clean as we would have hoped. Check-in was also a bit challenging as we did not receive the entry code and had to make several calls to gain entry. With some improvements to cleanliness and communication, this could be an outstanding stay given the prime location.

Pleasantly surprised

We stayed here and had a wonderful time. Honestly, I would rather have been here than any other properties due to the price and location. The room was wonderful. The hot tub and pool were nice also. On a side note- go across the street to the beach at night and see the sea turtles asleep there where about 50 of them every night.

Lovely tropical getaway close to beach

We loved this condo near the beach for sunsets, the whale sanctuary, and a short drive to produce markets, hikes, Foodland for poke’, nature preserves, upcountry, restaurants, and so much more. The well stocked kitchen and thoughtful items like beach gear, cooler, spices, etc were so helpful to us!

Perfect for the price

Great little spot. Was a little bit concerned with some of the reviews being mixed but it was everything you could need with a stay. Water pressure worked just fine, even though it’s on Kihei road it’s not too loud, and a/c with the box fan worked great. No complaints at all especially with the deal you’re getting

Good option for those looking for a smaller/quieter place. Could use some updates

Pros:-Location was fantastic! Right across from a beach, in close proximity to a lot of things -Price was very fair, especially for Maui -Cute space and quiet neighbors Cons:-outdated interior, but unless you're wanting to watch a lot on TV, it shouldn't be a problem -Bathroom needs a major deep clean. Bathroom smelled very strongly of mold/mildew through the duration of our stay.Overall, a good experience! A few tweaks would make this property absolutely incredible but it's definitely a good choice for those wanting reasonably priced accommodations

Nice place and great location

Nice complex with a great location so close to the water. If water isn’t your thing then it is a pretty simple drive to get to anything that Kihei can offer you. The room is a pretty good size. The closet has the basic beach needs like chairs if that is on your to do list.

Nice Kihei condo near the beach

This was a great location to start each day from. Nice farmer's market just north, and some fabulous beaches to the south (across the street was pretty nice as well). The only bummer was the lack of any beach towels... could've been jacked by previous guests, but we figured there would be some there so we didn't bring any of our own. Overall, I'd consider this a 4.5 star location!

Good Location

If you're looking for a cheap, decent place to sleep and shower because you're going to spend most of your time exploring Maui, this is the property for you. There were some hairbrushes with hair left in them in one of the drawers, which was a little off-putting, but we just ended up not using that drawer. Unit is located on the main road so it can get noisy from traffic. Location was central to everything that we had planned for our vacation. Overall, would stay here again.

We fell in love with Maui! This was a great location, but could improve on cleanliness. I had packed lysol wipes and used them right away. The reviews said the bedding was scratchy and they were! I packed a set of sheets just incase and used them by the second day.

This apartment is situated right in front of main road so it is very noisy(unless you close all windows and turn on air conditioning). Could use a bit of loving, the bed pillows and bedding are old and used, the apartment is dark, overall 3/5 cleansiness. On the other hand very well equipped kotchen and accessories, snorkelling gear, parasols and coolers for beach, tennis racquets etc.

pros and cons

our stay was less than ideal pros: location, parking, pool, hot tub, grills, indoor furniture was comfortable, bed was comfortable, air conditioner did work well, fans were nice. cons: outdoor furniture barely usable, wicker is falling apart needs to be replaced, screen patio door not usable, needs to be replaced, air conditioning put together with duc tape. There were absolute no glasses provided, only small kid's cheap plastic assorted cups, absolutely no bowls, had to eat cereal out of a coffee mug, poor lighting especially for reading or playing a game, on island manager did not get back to use for a full day when we couldn't find the parking sticker (we did find it so it wasn't a problem)

Dont stay here. Huge rip off and waste of money

This place looked great online but really it's all dirty and run down. Ceiling falling apart in areas and the bed is the worst to sleep on. Plus the place is tiny and hot. The air conditioning cant keep up and its roasting all the time. The tv has 10 channels that work and 9 of them are paid advertising so if you want to watch something it's a total waste. The walls have damage all over and I can see nobody maintains this place at all. My wife and I were very disappointed with this place. All the outdoor equipment is old and worn out so dont bother using it. We found out on the last day a way better deal at a better resort and it's a night and day difference with everything including price and maintenance of the property. Very bad communication with the on call lady. Called for help and questions and never got a call back. Very disappointed with the experience here.

Cute condo

Pros: •nice size for being a studio •very comfy bed •loads of extra pillows •lots of towels •super awesome water pressure in the shower •comfy couch to relax on to watch TV or read •AC unit/ceiling fan/box fan helped to cool down the condo •fridge worked great •freezer was so good-I always carry ice cold water every day and having ice in the freezer was fantastic •pool and hot tub were wonderful to be able to use •getting in touch with the owner was very quick on my last day •awesome little beach across the street where the turtles came every day and the water was very shallow and calm •easy parking, most of the time I could park directly in front of the stairs leading up to the condo Cons: •not the cleanest-cobwebs on ceiling/walls •would’ve liked to have been provided with a mop of some kind to help keep the floors clean during my stay along with other cleaning supplies •only 1 plastic cup to use in the kitchen •everything in the kitchen felt a bit dirty/grimy so I had to wash everything before use and I even had to buy a sponge since there were no cleaning products supplied other than dish soap •laundry room was not working which I was not informed of but the laundromat was close by to drive to and it was very clean to use •quite a busy road so couldn’t really enjoy the balcony •checkout was at 11, took the trash out at 10, was automatically locked out, lucked out by asking vacationers next door, took an hour to get in •island contact person couldn’t be reached

This property was a major disappointment. The unit was dirty, poorly maintained, and the host was unresponsive.From the start, the AC unit was broken and replaced with a portable unit that did not cool the space and leaked water continuously, leaving puddles on the floor and soaking some of my belongings. The unbearable heat inside made our stay extremely uncomfortable.The overall cleanliness was unacceptable: hair on the bed linens, stained towels (some clearly cut from larger ones), a broken bed frame, a dirty oven, and a microwave missing its turntable ring. Basic kitchen items were lacking—there was only one cup for water.Despite notifying the host immediately, very little was done. The host’s “maintenance” crew was unprofessional and ineffective. Calls and texts came at inconvenient times, but no one actually resolved the problems. His follow-up was minimal, and at one point, he went silent for nine days after.Instead of enjoying our trip, we spent it cleaning, mopping leaks, and struggling in unbearable conditions. This was not the experience promised when booking and fell far below reasonable expectations for a Vrbo rental.

As several reviews noted, the best asset of this apartment is its location, very close to the fish pond and nearby beaches. I also appreciate the beach chairs provided. However, the apartment needs a serious upgrade. The bed is hard and old, the furnishings are not functional and oversized for the space. It looks like they were gotten from a thrift store sale. The kitchen lacked some utensils like a pan to make eggs and spoons. Towels and linen are very worn. The worst issue was the sewage smell coming from the bathroom vent. It clearly needs to be fixed. When we arrived to checking in, the cleaning person was moping the floors but, overall, the place was a bit filthy.

Price was good but Not ocean view whatsoever, not a working ac unit leaked and flooded the entire trip. Given obviously dirty towels, floor not swept. Tissues and dirty boxers upon arrival, loud undisclosed construction out front. Sewage smell throughout and felt dirty. The unit is too hot to sleep comfortably. No hand soap in the unit. Needs some serious tlc And update to listing

I grew up and went to school on the east coast. After a vacation to California, I decided to make it my home. Since moving to California, we have been vacationing in Maui for about 12 years, and the very first time we knew we would live there someday. This condo is now our home away from home. We have two adorable toddlers. Before they were born, we engaged in a 10 year search for the perfect place to call home in Maui. But when our children were born and after seeing their love and enjoyment for Maui, and with an enchanted stroke of luck, i found our second home. we are anxious to share the aloha spirit with my guests, and hope that you will feel the magic I felt the very first time I stepped foot on the island. I hope our guests will feel the love our family has for our home.

Why they chose this property

We began looking for a second home from the first time we set foot on Maui. We stayed in other parts of the island, including Napili and Kaanapali. We found Kihei to feel more like a family oriented paradise in a small beach resort town, located centrally allowing easy access to many points of interest. Our home is across Kihei Road from the ancient Koieie Fish Pond, and the Whale Sanctuary. We have an ocean view, that will only get better when the palm tree grows just a little bigger! We found that as return visitors, accessibility to the airport, shopping, dining, and other beaches, is very important to living in Maui.

Kihei is a beach town that makes you feel welcoming. The locals are kind as are the beaches. You have a variety of places to eat, shop, or simply to enjoy taking long walks on beaches that are long and beautiful, such as sugar beach. Maui ocean center is just over 6 miles away. Our home provides you many options on the laid back island of maui.
