About this property

Charming midtown cottage with central air and driveway parking, great location

A peaceful retreat in midtown Memphis! Birch Cottage was a 1940 garage that has been carefully converted into a charming guest house using mostly salvaged architectural materials. It is nestled in our sweet historic district of 100+ year-old homes and conveniently located blocks from the highway, 7 minutes from downtown, and 5 minutes from midtown's best restaurants and shops. Guests will have full use of the driveway for off-street parking.

The cottage is a studio space incorporating bedroom, living space, and a kitchenette with a separate full bathroom, and a desk for workspace. There is a queen bed in the studio and we can add an optional full-size floor bed for additional guests / kids. The cottage has central air, wifi, a bathtub, and smart tv that allows guests to log in to any of your streaming services. Provided appliances: fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle. Tea, and snacks are provided.

You will have the cottage to yourself, and shared use of the backyard with patio and wood swing.

This little place is amazing!!! Our hostess was very accommodating and the cottage isn’t just decorated nice but it is extremely clean!! We loved our short stay there!! We highly recommend this place!!

I just cannot overstate the charm of this cottage! So sweet and calm and pretty. The hosts were lovely and the location was great. Very much hope to go back and stay longer!
