This property is perfect for family and friends or a couple. 'A breezy and charming home, Maui Winds invites rest and relaxation and offers exciting activities for top-notch athletes ready to windsurf, surf, foil, SUP or bike Maui's north shore. Kiting is so nearby at world-famous Lanes beach. Mama's beach and kid-friendly tide pools and access to surfing and wind sport launch are just a few steps away. Sight see and return back to Maui Winds for a home-cooked meal or short walk down the street to Mama's Fish House Restaurant or Kuau Store for groceries. Nearby Baldwin Beach invites walkers and runners or babies to it's popular Baby Beach. Paia has contemporary island cuisine and live music. The feeling on this north shore is low-key, "Bohemian", relaxing and sporty if you choose, 'less "resorty" than some areas of Maui.

One of the best we’ve stayed at

We really enjoyed this property. It’s very close to a small beach that we would walk to frequently. Paia is a fun little town that we fell in love with. It’s big enough to have all the shops and restaurant but small enough to avoid the crowds. The house is spacious and has a nice beachy feel. We’d definitely stay here again.

This house was perfect for our family! The house was spacious and clean with quick walks to two beach access points, a convenience store and Mama’s Fish house made the stay easy on everyone. The house location about a mile and easy walk from downtown, sits at the beginning of the Hana Hwy was an amazing jumping off point and recovery location our Maui adventures.

The perfect spot

We had a spectacular time staying at this beach house. It provided ample room for our family of 5. The yard allowed for kids to play and we were a very short walk to mama's beach. Close to Paia and an excellent store down the road.

Great house and great location

Loved being just a short walk to the beach in front of Mama’s fish house. It’s far enough from the Airport and bigger town but still just a short drive to both. Walking distance to the cool little town of Paia. Craig the manager was very friendly, responsive and helpful. The house itself was open and airy and clean. Loved the big shower! Would stay again if I ever make it back!

Wonderful house

The house is a classic beach house with loads of character. If you are looking for an authentic (non-condo) holiday stay, this is the place for you. We were a family of 5 and where very comfortable. It is a short 2 min walk to a small beach good for morning dips. There is a good corner shop 5 mins walk away that serves good coffee and snacks. Mama’s Fish House is also 2 mins walk away.

Best part of island

This is a private location that is not close to the main tourism of Maui but is close enough to everything that any adventure is accessible. It is the start point for heading out the road to Hana as well as the bike ride up Haleakala. Famous kiteboarding and surfing beaches are within a mile or so of the house. The house itself was cozy, clean, well equipped, and comfortable. We had a great time.
