Highly Recommend

I would stay here again. The property was clean and they thought of everything - candy dishes, coffee/tea bar, all the things you would have at your own house. My favorite was a treat for our dog along with bowls and a blanket for her. Everything was easy. Huge THANK YOU!

Our stay was wonderful! This property is awesome! Mary has thought of everything and makes it so easy being there. It was clean and very beautiful. We sat on the porch for many hours watching the lake, used the hot tub and sat on the upper deck and cooked meals together as a family. The trains go by but they are not loud and we got used to them quickly. It was nice to walk to Marina, bars, coffee shops etc. it was perfect. Thank you!

Best place ever!

This house is amazing! Mary had it all stocked! The beds were so comfortable. I would recommend this house to everyone. Great location- didn’t mind the trains, you get used to them! Mary provides sound machines and extra fans if the sound bothers you. My family and I didn’t want to leave. My son got married down the street and knowing we had a nice safe place to come back after the event was stress free and relaxing! Five stars!!

An absolute oasis!

The Peace of Pepin is in one of the most beautiful locations with an unbeatable view of the river, and the house itself is so lovely you won’t want to leave. Our family has stayed in quite a few vacation rentals, but I’m not sure we’ve ever seen one so well-stocked and thoughtfully laid out. This house had absolutely everything we needed for a peaceful vacation, from the hot tub to the small details like a first aid kit when the toddler had an “owie.”The house was right across the street from a gorgeous little beach, and a short walk from fun restaurants and other stuff to do in Pepin. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous with historic charm and modern updates like a very well-thought-out kitchen with anything you’d need to cook. Mary was such a kind and generous host, and we felt very welcome in her home.
