Quiet retreat with beautiful view

The hosts were responsive and replied in a timely manner and answered all my minor questions.The kitchen is well stocked, there are plenty of towels.I was there for a month and there were sufficient supplies for me to keep the house neat and tidy.The views from the deck are amazing. Watching the sun rise over Wisconsin when the river is encased in fog was spectacular.The house is located in a neighborhood of family cottages, but there is one bar/restaurant just down the road and Wabasha and Kellogg are only minutes away.I hope to stay there again next summer.

This is a very comfortable home with a spectacular view. Perfect for our group. Worked well as a vacation spot for the family member who needed to be at Mayo for appointments one of the days—less than an hour drive away. The deck was lovely for evening meals, sunsets, and visits. Would definitely stay here again.

I think we spent all of our time on the deck! The view was great. The house was very nice and everyone slept well. Perfect spot for our quick trip!

Spectacular view

This home worked well for a wedding we attended in Wabasha. The views from the living room and deck are absolutely stunning. I must suggest that the owner buy new towels and coffee mugs. The bath towels were worn and ragged. It would also be nice to have coffee cups. There were only 2 decent ones. A small investment would make a huge difference in this property.

Nice house with the beautiful view

Clean nice house conveniently located. Excess to the water requires steps so if you aren't in shape it's not for you. Beautiful view. Good fishing, you can keep 3 boats on a water. Nice grill. We'll definitely book it again. Thank you for a nice stay! Jackie was very accommodating with early check in.

Great location. Beautiful views and a gorgeous deck to accomodate the view. Accommodations were perfect for our group of four. There are things that could have made the stay top notch. A light in the back porch for entry to the house is needed. Providing a tandem kayak or two kayaks would have me rebooking this property. The river was like glass two of the days and kayaking would have been amazing. The recliner on the main floor is old and ripped. Just not a good look for a rental. Also, the reclining feature on the left side of the main floor sectional was broken and not able to be used. This sectional, in general, was old and not very comfortable. As a group of middle aged women who spent most of our time walking and shopping in nearby towns, reclining at the rental was a must. The nicer furniture is on the lower level, but we had some people in our group with mobility restrictions, so the stairs to lower level weren't an option for some. I gave this rental a 4 for cleanliness due to several long hairs being stuck to the shower wall upon arrival. Also, there were used bars of soap in bathroom closet for use. That's just gross. The property looks exactly as pictured though.
