THE DROP-IN: the edge of adventure

Welcome to The Drop-In, a privately owned King Suite inside The Grand Lodge, ideally located slope-side at the base of Crested Butte Mountain Resort, just about 200 yards from the lifts.

The suite sleeps up to 4 with a comfortable king bed and queen sleeper sofa, plus new leather furniture, two flat-screen TVs and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi.

The kitchenette includes a countertop convection oven, microwave, single-burner cooktop, dishwasher, mini refrigerator, Keurig, French press, electric kettle, dishes and utensils.

Guests enjoy access to Grand Lodge amenities including a heated indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, steam room, fitness center, ski/bike valet and free parking for one vehicle.

You’ll be in the heart of the Mt. Crested Butte base area, with restaurants, bars and après-ski entertainment within walking distance. The main Transit Center is directly across from the lodge, offering free shuttle service to historic downtown Crested Butte for dining, shopping, galleries and nightlife.

Known as “Colorado’s Last Great Ski Town” and the “Wildflower Capital of Colorado,” Crested Butte offers world-class skiing, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, golf, festivals and year-round adventure.

Check-in is managed directly through us, not through the hotel front desk. Detailed access instructions are provided before arrival.

Whether you’re here for powder days, summer wildflowers, festivals or a mountain getaway, The Drop-In is an easy, comfortable slope-side basecamp for exploring Crested Butte.

The room is in The Grand Lodge crested Butte hotel and suites. The room provides space for 4 people and the kitchenette has a kuerig and single burner stove that was slow. The location great to the lifts. The steam room was out of order for our entire stay and the hot tub jets were not working. The host was extremely communicative. Recommend as a Family resort
