This darling cottage is a close to everything and was recently completely and thoughtfully renovated. Beautiful new flooring greets you as you enter and flows throughout the home. The open floor plan makes great use of all the space. Beautiful Bright Eat-In Kitchen opens to the family room by the breakfast bar. The kitchen was thoughtfully designed, and the bathroom is spacious and fully renovated to be functional and beautiful. Three bedrooms all with updated fixtures. Perfect Location!

Skip the small, overpriced hotel room.

This cute cottage is in a great location. It is close to restaurants, sororities & fraternities, and it is a short Uber ride to the stadium and downtown. It was the perfect place for us to stay during our Parent’s Weekend. The beds are comfortable, and the cottage has a washer and dryer and a fully equipped kitchen—perfect for my small family. David is accommodating and responsive!

Needs a little TLC

I really wanted to like this property, as I always do my research to find places that fit our needs. Unfortunately, this stay didn’t meet expectations. The house itself could use some upkeep and a thorough cleaning. It has potential, but it feels like it hasn’t been well-maintained.The biggest challenge was the neighboring property, where several large dogs are outside 24/7. They barked throughout the night, which made it hard to get restful sleep, and one morning they were left roaming outside and came running towards us when we went outside, jumping on us. We had to go back inside until the owner contained them. Needless to say, this was a little unsettling.With some improvements to the home and better awareness of the surrounding environment, this could be a more enjoyable place to stay. Until then, I’d recommend future guests be aware of these factors before booking.

Future guests – note that we just took over this property in January and are currently addressing all the concerns. A new six foot fence is being added in the next couple months.

This VRBO is in a nasty neighborhood in Athens Georgia. The yard was on manicure grass was extremely long. There was beer bottles laying around dirty mattress laying up against the house and just overall houses surrounding. It were scary at best. We did not stay there, but we did try to, and we would definitely not recommend it to anybody. The host was unhelpful. Get out of there you just put a thing right there.

If you read precious reviews tou will know this is not accurate. They Messaged me 30 minites after check in time to tell me they were not planning to check in. They didn’t even go into the house. I have not had this problem for the 3 years this home has been a short-term rental. This is a Very typical house in the price range near campus.
