It was a down right easy process to rent and great help from managerment to respond to and if any issues come up.

Three families met for our annual New Years skiing get together. The house was perfect.

It was ok

It had enough for basic needs. The house was so cold when we arrived, we would have appreciated maybe a log in fire place to warm up the place a bit!

Amazing Place!

This house was absolutely perfect! The kitchen was completely stocked with everything you would need to cook for lots of people. There were spices, ziplock bags, condiments, oil and anything else you would need. There were beach towels and tons of bath towels. The deck is amazing! You have a view of the lake! We want to come back next year!

Good for a quiet group

This is a great location, the house is older without updates but not an issue for our group. Great deck with a beautiful view of the lake. The only thing to be very aware of is this neighborhood in Dollar Point is very strict with noise. We had a group of 10 which lead to loud voices while we were enjoying the back deck. We got a noise complaint from the street below in the afternoon. We talked to the HOA and they said the rules are “no amplified sound” 24 hours a day including voices. We were told it was from 9pm on. We were also wrongly accused of throwing garbage off the deck by a neighbor. It was very windy and some cups flew off which we promptly picked up. So while this is a great location and house if you have a large group that can get loud I would choose a different spot. Quiet groups I would highly recommend it for.

Great Property - easy access for skiing

Property was very nice and fit our group well, only issues during the stay were related to the huge amount of snow that fell just before our stay. and the property manager communicated very well with us in resolving any issues we had

Good find at Lake Tahoe

Overall, this was a nice, functional property for a larger group. It took a while for the house to heat up, but other than that, no complaints! Robert was very helpful and was very responsive throughout our stay.

Great location and fun time!

We had a great time at the house. Bob was very responsive, gracious and helpful. The HOA amenities were great, and plenty of other options for activities nearby. Our family of 8 fit nicely into the house as well.

Would definitely stay here again

This house is the perfect size for 2 families. It is also in a great location, only 15-20 minutes from Squaw. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, more so than most VRBO homes. There were plenty of blankets, pillows, towels, etc. The view from the home is also excellent. Communicating with Robert was easy, as he was very responsive. There was only one negative about the home. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue. The oven and other kitchen appliances did not look as though they had been cleaned for a while, dishes felt somewhat gritty, and we found a cold cup of coffee in the microwave when we arrived. The home is a bit dated, which was not an issue for us, but may be for some. Overall, we had a great stay at this home, and would definitely stay here again!

Summer at the lake

Great location overlooking Lake Tahoe and near Truckee River (rafting and biking!) and Tahoe City (groceries and restaurants). The main floor has all the gathering places (dining, living, kitchen) in one great room and easy access to a large deck with views. We really appreciated how this created togetherness for the families (i.e., teenagers didn’t disappear to the lower level). Delightful to share dinner on the deck and watch the lake and evening sky. Owner was very accessible and responsive. Private beach access for an added fee, but it’s quite nice, and there are lounge chairs and umbrellas there. They fill up quickly so plan to arrive early or bring your own. One clarification: beds in bedrooms 3 and 5 are double aka full size, not queen.

Great comfy place for a large group

Fireplace in one of the bedrooms was great! Communal living space was large enough for our group which is hard to find. Spaces to spread out if someone wants quiet time. Nice little view of the lake. HUGE back porch that would be spectacular in the summer.

We had a very good stay at this Dollar Point home!

This place is comfortable, well-stocked and perfect for families with kids. I would have given it 5 stars if there was either a hot tub or big bathtub, but for the price, this place was just what we needed. Bob was also very friendly and responsive. It is also very well-located just 15/20 mins from Squaw/Alpine.
