The room is clean, comfortable and sweetly decorated with hummingbird imagery. Nice bathroom and good shower. Fenced in patio makes it especially dog friendly. The street is quiet and in a great location, close to the beach and downtown. We appreciated the detailed guide to restaurants, wineries, tourist attractions and more. Eric and Ada were welcoming and available without being intrusive.

We had a wonderful stay at Hummingbird Suite. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and felt relaxed. The location was perfect – close enough to enjoy all that Santa Barbara has to offer yet peaceful, and private for when we wanted to unwind. The hosts were warm, and attentive and made sure every detail was taken care of, which really elevated our experience. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for such a memorable experience. Highly recommend this suits to anyone looking for comfort style, and a touch of Santa Barbara charm!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hummingbird Suite. The property was very clean, private, had a great bathroom and all the amenities we required. We stayed during a wedding so it was great to have a large walk in closet and iron with plenty of space to get ready. We also really enjoyed the private patio with cute lights and hummingbirds galore. The location was perfect, situated on top of the hill and very walkable in a nice peaceful neighbourhood. The property is a 10 minute walk to some cute cocktail bars and a local grocery store or a 25 minute walk into town. Definitely a great spot to be very central but just outside the hustle and bustle - best of both worlds! Ada and Eric were absolutely lovely hosts and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Really cozy room with nice coffee supplies, filtered water, and a fridge. Lovely hummingbird feeder was positively busy in the evening. So entertaining to sit quietly and watch. Ada & Eric were great hosts and responded easily to messages. Big thumbs up!I even left a jar of nut butter in the fridge, and Eric returned it by post. So considerate

Relaxing Stay in SB

If you are looking for a nice, clean, and calm place to stay with great affordability, look no further. The hummingbird suite, situated near the coast of Santa Barbara, offers great privacy and easy access to downtown. The host are very friendly and made sure I had everything I need during my stay. My girlfriend and I are very particular individuals and this suite was clean! The outdoor patio is perfect for a morning coffee/cup of tea while enjoying the sounds of nature. As a first time visitor to California, I’m glad this was the first place I stayed. This is a wonderful property so treat it with the respect it deserves.

I had a wonderful stay at this comfortable Santa Barbara VRBO! The bedroom was spacious with a comfortable bed for two. It had a fireplace,smart TV, and a shower with tub combo. While there was no A/C, the large fan provided kept the room comfortable. The space includes three distinct rooms—a breakfast kitchenette, and a guest patio. I appreciated how quiet the room is even at night. The location is half mile walk from the Pacific Ocean beach. The beachside restaurant was a great bonus, offering roomy seating and outdoor tables right on the beach!! The VRBO hosts were attentive and kind. They answered all questions. They also provided cereal, coffee and other treats for early morning snack . There is a separate patio designated for guests. This is a great place for a casual stay with helpful hosts. Cheers!

We fell in love with Santa Barbara this weekend! Ada and Eric were great hosts offering up a charming suite in one of Santa Barbara’s tranquil, popular neighborhoods, walking distance to beach, State street and Funk zone. The suite was perfect for us, clean, quiet and the shower does not disappoint! Highly recommend !
