Location is amazing, home was very well equipped, communication with owners was easy and responses were quick. We enjoyed our stay so much that even though we had a lot planned for the week, some days we just opted to stay at the house because it was so relaxing and had so much to offer; views, activities, games, grills, etc... It was a wonderful week!

We had 4 generations in our group and the home was great for all of us. There was plenty of indoor space but we most appreciated that we could all sit down to dinner together. The yard was great for outdoor games. The weather during our week was excellent so we were able to golf 3 times - twice at Spooner Golf Club and once at Butternut Hills. Although the lake is shallow it is very clean and we enjoyed water skiing and swimming at the beach area on the property. The lake is large and we enjoyed exploring it and the small islands that dotted it. We’ve been doing VRBO for many years and the group consensus was that this was the best property we’ve been to!

Simply wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described—if not better. Each room was beautifully appointed and thoughtfully stocked. Comfy beds/bedding, plenty of seating, games, darts, pinball, cornhole, and more. Everyone in our family of six (2 teens, 2 parents, 2 grandparents) loved the stay. And the lake views were amazing! Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a top-quality rental experience.

10 stars for the thoughtful, considerate owners. This home has everything you could need, each detail was thought out and beautifully executed. Comfortable furniture, enough space to handle a large group but not overwhelming for smaller groups. The view of the lake was outstanding. Communication was quick and easy. Thank you so much from all of us!

Beautiful property! The house is well designed, with lots of space for large families, including updated bedroomsand sleeping areas with comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, a large, well stocked kitchen, and fun indoor games (arcade games in the basement were a big hit!) and outdoor games like cornhole. The kids enjoyed swimming next to the dock on the Rave float, where the water was clear and there were fewer weeds than in other areas of the lake. Spooner lake has numerous shallow areas so having a map of the lake is helpful when boating. There is a sand bar in one area that is a popular swimming spot though it was busy when we discovered it so we chose to swim off the pontoon instead. There is a large grocery store in town, a couple of coffee shops, ice cream store and a number of restaurants in Spooner, which is only 7 minutes away.

Our extended family of 11 gave this property a unanimous thumbs up! The grandkids had plenty of fish bites from the 2 docks and they also enjoyed the variety of game machines in the basement. The enlarged bunk bed set-up was perfect for the 5 of them. We like to cook and really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, (probably the best equipped of any rental we’ve had), the indoor and outdoor eating areas and the grilling equipment on the patio. The main floor had adequate space for all of us to comfortably hang out, plus the screened porch and small attached covered area allowed for different reading areas. The guys took advantage of the golf course just down the road, Spooner is close by for shopping and dining, however our favorite dinner spot, especially for Fish Fry is Pine Haven on Sissabagama Lake. We would highly recommend this property; Gina was always quick to respond to any questions.
