Property is more of a cabin. There were ants in the sink, the rental had been “rush cleaned” according to vrbo and the hurricane windows were not open so house was dark all day long. The rush clean meant frig was dirty, shower was dirty, rugs were not cleaned.

This property is very pet and kid friendly with a large, fenced yard. It's within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. The rooms were clean. Furniture was comfortable. I particularly loved the Florida room where the table was.The only downside was the amount if traffic on the road right outside. With the shutters closed it was less noticeable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here!

We were in town to pick my wife up from a rehabilitation facility, but enjoyed the house very much. Very clean, and it has a fantastic multi-outlet shower that I didn't notice when I was looking at the property online. Would definitely recommend if you are wanting to be close to downtown.

Roomy home with great hangout space inside and out. Clean and accommodating. You can tell the house is loved and not just an investment property. Fantastic shower tower! Refrigerator stocked with water, much appreciated. Great fully fenced yard perfect for hairy children and human children too. Huge driveway. Super easy check-in and guides from host on layout, WiFi, TV operation. Right across the street from downtown Melbourne restaurants, bars and shops. Super close to parks, bridge, river and beach.

This house was in such a great spot and walkable distance to downtown. This was our goal when looking at a place to stay just for a weekend so we didn’t have to uber to and from downtown Melbourne. Awesome backyard area as well!

Convenient Location for Old Town Melbourne with Easy Access to the Beach

We had a great time! Host communication and notes throughout the house on lights and how things worked were welcomed. We like to cook while traveling and appreciated the owner stocking the fridge with a few items. The only drawback we found was limited tools to cook a simple meal in the kitchen. We recommended a propane grill to cook outside on a hot summer night. If our travels bring us back to Melbourne, we would stay again!

The house was an older home, birds in chimney, sugar ants in kitchen, very choppy floor plan. House right on busy road, very basic supplies in the home for cooking/eating/etc so be prepared to buy paper products. House did get hot so had to keep temp lower than normal during stay

Clean and Cute

The place was clean and roomy. The couches are very uncomfortable but nice. There was no coffee pot,toaster,only 1 pan, no kitchen towels snd the sink doesn't drain properly, fence needs to be enclosed as advertised fenced yard . I would definitely rent the place again!

Great place with yard near beaches

We had a wonderful stay (2 adults and our dog). Nice big fully fenced yard. The host left a partially stocked fridge and freezer and all the amenities we could need. Bathrooms were nice and one appeared to be newly remodeled with a cool rain shower but removed 1 star because that shower was clogged and we couldn't use it. The red couches look nice but were very uncomfortable, but it didn't ruin our stay. Location was great, right off main road and close enough to walk to small park with the dog, 10min from beaches, walk to downtown. Some road noise but not excessive. Would stay again! Thank you!

A perfect getaway

I'm so glad that we stumbled across this listing. We are unfamiliar with the area and were in need of a place to stay during a nearby festival. This location is so central to all that is around. I don't believe we ever moved the car! Our convention was a short 5 minute Uber away and there are so many food options within a few blocks. The property was clean and just as described. Beds are firm but in a good, supportive way. We had plenty of space to sprawl out and settle in for the long weekend. Arrival was super easy and we were surprised to find a few treats in the refrigerator that made the long drive not so bad! We often go to Orlando and struggle with the water pressure in the area - but not here! Water pressure was fantastic and the water heater did not disappoint. We had once incident where we had to contact the host and it was fixed in less than 20 minutes despite being in the middle of the night. Central location, great local food in walking distance, plenty of space, super comfortable and unheard of service and response time. What more could you ask for? If we attend the same festival next year, this is the first stop to check for availability.

Not what we expected!

The place was very dark, even when the drapes were open. The dining room & back bathroom lighting was ok. The light that is in the bathroom between the 2 bedrooms was like a nitelight, also it had no outlets. I had ask the host prior to booking, if there is a TV in the bedroom, she said yes, there was not. Even though it’s shows on VRBO that there is a hair dryer, I ask the host, she said yes, there was not. She said someone would bring one 1st thing next morning. While waiting for someone to bring the hair dryer, I took a shower, it filled up almost to the top of the rim, there was no door, the rim was about 6 inches. When they brought the hair dryer, guess what else they brought, drainO. I Had not told her about the shower. Obviously they knew about the shower so why wasn’t it fixed prior to our arrival. The bed was as hard as a rock, no give whatsoever. Both of the sofas in the living room were very uncomfortable. The drawers in the kitchen were dirty. The range had a double oven, the top one was dirty & we couldn’t figure out how to turn the bottom one on. The microwave was dirty. My husband made coffee with the nespresso it made a quarter of a cup. There was no trash bags except the 1 that was in the trash can. If there is more than 3 of you, bring knives, forks & glasses, there is 3 of each & the glasses are small. The sound on the TV wouldn’t turn up & the closed caption was on & I know why! It was nice that old Town was only 1/4mi.

Hello Diana, Thanks for your feedback :) Sorry for misunderstanding your second email inquiring about if bedroom has TV as well. you are right, TV was only in main room, and not in bedroom before - my bad understanding your pre-arrival query!. ... Just wanted to update you though, we have installed another TV for main bedroom as well now. Regarding no sound on TV: TV sound is working fine, loud, has been tested fine after/now... Mute/No sound, I am suspecting that it was rather Samsung universal remote thing which needs pushing button up for volume, compare to traditional push button. If you would have called us, I would have came over demoed/verified ... regardless sorry for inconvenience. If you ever in town again, please consider us to host you with best of the care. regards,
