Our trip was planned nearly five months in advance & Rob was exceptionally responsive from the start—which we appreciated. The property has many strengths: the location is fantastic, the space is gorgeous, clean, updated, well‑appointed & it comfortably fit our group. Four of the five beds were very comfortable (one twin could be updated) & communication throughout was excellent.However, several unexpected issues affected our stay. The building also houses a foreign embassy, a detail not disclosed despite potential security considerations. We were told there had never been problems & thankfully we experienced none. The listing mentions help arranging airport transportation, but the “assistance” was simply a link to a mediocre third‑party service.Both showers were hazardous, requiring very high steps & having slippery surfaces—especially challenging for older or mobility‑limited guests. During orientation, we were also told that no toilet paper could be flushed due to plumbing sensitivity. While the listing notes being cautious, it does not indicate that all TP must go in a trash bin—an unpleasant reality for five people over five days.Lastly, although the listing says “no hidden fees,” we were informed, the day before arrival, that late to check‑in would incur hourly charges. Traveling halfway around the world, delays were unavoidable— the property manager arrived 30 minutes after us...Overall the property has many positives; clearer disclosures/accuracy would help!
