It was a great spot while we were in the area for a wedding. Cozy for a family of 4, but the kids loved it. Beautiful area, and if we ever come back we'll likely try to stay here again.

Cozy apartment on Arkansas River

Quiet and cozy apartment, well appointed. Comfy bed and was a perfect respite for our quick overnight stay en route to Westcliffe.

Clean and comfortable. Could have been slightly better with a screen installed in the bedroom window, but with the fan it was a decent night.

The location was great, it is near the river, but depending on time of year, river access may not be possible. The place is well appointed in some respects, but totally not in others. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking implements, but lacks the bare basics like salt and pepper. When we stayed in June, it was getting hot and in order to create airflow, we got out the fan from the closet, but were unable to open most windows due to missing screens, and it was very buggy outside, so open windows was not a good option. I think the enjoyment factor of this place would go up considerably if there were screens on all windows and salt, pepper and sugar were available for guests.

Overall we had a really good experience in this small, cozy home, and especially loved having river access right nearby. The one drawback was it was very hot in the home (this was early September) and there was only one fan and only one window with a screen on it. But the host said they'd be adding screens to other windows, so hopefully this is the case.
