You'll have parking for 2 cars comfortably in the private parking lot behind the house, and street parking is free (just be courteous of the neighbors driveways!) Walltown is the best of both worlds - far enough to be peaceful, but close to all the conveniences! You’ll be an easy bike/drive/Uber/Lyft distance to: 9th & Broad St shopping (0.8mi: Elmo’s Diner, Vin Rouge, Juju, Dain’s Place, Monuts, Whole Foods, Harris Teeter, dry cleaning, and More!) As you plan your travel to, from and around the Triangle, some helpful distances: RDU Airport is 15 miles (about 20-25 minutes) away Durham Amtrak, Bus Station and MegaBus pick up are downtown, 2 miles away I-85, with access to I-40, Hwy 70 & NC 147/885, is just 1 mile away It’s easy to get to Raleigh (25mi), Chapel Hill (14mi), or RTP (12mi) with a car, cab or Lyft/Uber.
As stated in the house rules, there is an automatic minimum $250 service fee for any violations of house rules that require additional cleaning and/or cause damage. We have tried to make it comfortable for you and all future guests, and have been thoughtful in the amenities we provide. We appreciate you for exercising the same level of thought and care when staying here. * We do ask that guests are relatively quiet after 10 PM, as a courtesy to neighbors. Parties and loud groups are not permitted. Thanks for helping us be good neighbors. * Smoking or vaping of any substances is not permitted on the premises. * Up to 2 well-behaved pets are welcome, and must be registered with the reservation. There is a pet fee (Min $50), based on number & length of stay. * Reservations of over 29 days are subject to additional fees. These are dependent upon length of reservation, and will be discussed when an inquiry or booking is made. * We use Safely as a third party screener for the safety of all of our guests and neighbors. Great, pet-friendly property. Right across from NCSSM, great for walking your dog. Felt very safe at all hours. Very quiet (people mentioned the train whistle but it was way in the distance and barely noticeable; same with the street traffic.) Apartment had such old fashioned charm; high ceilings, old (covered up) fireplace in one bedroom. The only issue was with people in the upstairs apartment, could hear every footstep and lots of creaking, but they were only there one night. Owner thought of everything: soap, shampoos, body wash, tea, coffee, etc. would definitely stay again.

TV was an issue but was solved after 24 hours. Bathroom tiny and would be difficult with multiple people using. All in all we had a nice stay.

Absolutely perfect!
Lovely home for my stay in Durham to visit family. Quiet, cozy and comfortable with charming front porch. Close to Duke's East Campus and Ninth St. Had everything we needed and more.
I loved my stay and am looking forward to staying here next time I am in Durham. The apartment was lovely, location was great, and Emily was very helpful. Checking in and out was a piece of cake.
