Our visit far exceeded expectations! Cheryl was so thoughtful with the items left in the room to make our stay more comfortable (corkscrew, toiletries, coffee bar). She was also quite friendly and came out to help us when the door was jammed. It was a quiet neighborhood, central to everything we needed. Plus the bed was super comfy!

Great location, cozy place

I stayed for one night for a work trip and enjoyed this cozy and quiet place. You’re within a short distance from excellent restaurants and the downtown area. I especially liked Cheryl’s antique decorations and the cream and tea and coffee she provides for her guests. Peaceful backyard view to watch the deer.

I made last minute weekend plans and booked a one night stay in Asheville. Was so grateful for the ease of communication, gracious host, beautiful, clean accommodations and quiet, residential neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect little apartment

We loved staying here! The host was kind and always checked to see if we needed anything. I also loved how she told us that even though the house is connected, she always ensures the guests have privacy. I thought it was perfect for a short weekend for couples. It was also a great location to downtown and only a short drive to some incredible hiking locations!

Cheryl’s West Asheville Chalet was a dream stay in Asheville! Set back in a quiet neighborhood not far from Haywood Rd., the room is a separate suite from Cheryl’s home. You have control over your own climate/temp, the wifi is a strong signal, and the bed is super comfortable. There’s also a private screened-in porch she reserves for your stay and a backyard seating area which is super cute.Cheryl was very communicative and helpful in her hosting!If you're traveling solo or with a partner, this is a great option for your stay. It’s close to everything that’s cool about West Asheville, and only a short drive from downtown and other attractions. I will definitely keep this location favorited for the next time I’m in town.Thanks, Cheryl!! Nathan

Last vacation stop first time visit to quaint artsy friendly Ashville NC. Overnight stay w/husband. Good communication with host, easy to find, cute neighborhood, narrow streets, sloped driveway, ample parking, easy access into room, clean, comfortable, cozy, relaxing bedroom and bathroom. Everything you need including binder with cafe’s, restaurants, and areas of interest, art district museums, and shopping of course. A lovely place/city to end our vacation.Thank you, Cheryl
