About this property

Private Serene Cabin

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin on top of the mountain. Just a 20 minute drive to Cherry Springs for stargazing or stay at home and view the clear night sky from the wrap around deck. Nestled at the end of a dead end lane allows for a super private setting. First bedroom is very large with a queen bed at one end of the room and a twin over full bunk bed at the other end. The 2nd bedroom has a full sized bed. Full bathroom in the hallway with tub and shower. Enjoy the serenity.

Please note: In winter months, the mountain and area in general gets a lot of snow. We do not recommend you book unless you have a 4x4 truck, 4 wheel drive vehicle or minimally all-wheel drive vehicle. Do not arrive after dark. If weather forecasts blizzards or heavy snow, we may request you cancel your reservation, and you will get a full refund. We do this so that guests do not get snowed in.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights
If visiting in the winter months, pls use the tan turn dial on the wall by the fire place to turn the heat down to 55.
If you built a fire outside, make sure it is fully extinguished before leaving the cabin. Pls put adirondack chairs back under the deck.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
-Turn heat down to 55 degrees when you leave if heat is on -Put fires out when you leave the cabin -Load and run the dish washer before you leave
-turn all lights off including outside -return Adirondack chairs to staging area underneath the deck -put all trash in a trash bag and leave inside
-Keep food in the frig, not out in the cabin or in your car (there are bears in the area and other wildlife) -Keep car windows closed (wildlife)
