Discover the beauty of Mount Dora from this delightful 2-bedroom cottage named after my daughter, Beatrice! Enjoy a queen bed, king bed, a full size murphy bed, 2 couch beds and a sleeping porch - perfect for girls weekend, families, and bridal parties! PLUS- we are in the historic district and have 2 bicycles, helmets and locks for use!
Enjoy the convenience of amenities like WiFi, a laundry room off the garage, and A/C. Relax in the two bathrooms equipped with showers, 1 bath tub and hair dryers. Escape to this quaint and cool property for a memorable getaway in Mount Dora. Enjoy your time in Mount Dora at our house.
What we LOVE most: being in the historic district. Beatrice's Cottager is less than half a mile to Mount Dora's Main Street - filled with unique shops, boutiques, restaurants and roughly 30 festivals a year. Know for it's New England Charm and Oak trees dripping with Spanish Moss, our cottage is in the heart of the cuteness. Plus- we have 2 bicycles and are in the designated FreeBee golf cart route- call 855-918-3733 for a free ride!
Want to cool off? Visit Kelly Park - Rock Springs just 15 minutes away. This natural spring remains at 68 degrees year round and has crystal clear water! You can tube, kayak, or swim year round. (407) 254-1902 for more information.

Why they chose this property
I LOVE Mount Dora Florida. It feels like a mixture of Savannah, Pasadena, and a twist of a New England. The cottage is in the historic section of Mount Dora and less than half a mile to Main Street where all the festivals, award-winning restaurants and charm is. Because Mount Dora is centrally located, the beaches on the Atlantic and Gulf make for a fun day trip. Likewise, the spring fed lagoons and Harris Lake Chain makes swimming, boating and exploring very fun. The canals and lagoons feel like you are in a jungle - so much that Tarzan was filmed in Mount Dora!
What makes this property unique
Built in 1932, Beatrice's Cottage has a historic colonial vibe unlike any other house in the historic section. Most of the historic homes are bungalows, and Beatrice's Cottage has an East Coast vibe that feels happy. PLUS- we have 2 bicycles and we are on the FreeBee golf cart path so you never have to drive a car! (or park a car during busy festival weekends).
