Fantastic apartment, great location

We stayed here for one week 7-14 September. The apartment was fantastic - the location was amazing, literally 30 seconds from the sea. The apartment was very clean and communication with the owner was brilliant. My questions were answered almost immediately. Check in was very straightforward. There were 2 tavernas and one cafe in the village which were great and numerous restaurants, shops and a couple of supermarkets in Sami (15 min walk along the beach). We will definitely be returning. Thank you!

Fabulous Villa With A Lovely View Over Sami Bay

Villa Nina is located in Katapodata, just a few kilometres outside Sami. It is perfect for couples or families of four, and has a breathtaking view over the Sami Bay. It is well equipped, with hotel quality furniture, and a private pool, complete with a pagoda and barbecue. The owner, Spyros, who also has the Il Familia restaurant in Sami, is very attentive to your needs, and responds quickly to any queries using the VRBO app. My wife and I spent a gorgeous three weeks at the villa, and spent about a third of our time there - the other two thirds on day trips going around the island. The nearest significant beach is Anti Samos, where Captain Corelli's Mandolin was filmed. A car is pretty essential here. Highly recommended.

Lovely base to explore Kefalonia

Zoe apartment was just as listed, very spacious, well equipped and comfortable and in a great location overlooking the sea. The balcony is a lovely place to sit and admire the view. The sea lovely for a swim, pebbled like many in the island. The local mini market sells beach shoes! Cleaning with new linen and towels carried out twice weekly. Two tavernas are within a short stroll, Zervata & Karavomylos Lake ( what a location , you must sit in a table at the seafront for a meal! ) both with great food and friendly service, a bakery is close by with good value, tasty bakery items , takeaway filled rolls and ice creams, which is open every day early until late. Sami is within easy reach with many different choices of restaurants, fruit shops and supermarkets. A great location to explore the island, so many beaches and nice villages to explore. Car parking just outside the door. The apartment has a shared pool which never seemed to busy although we didn’t visit often as we preferred the beaches. We were a family of 4 however the apartment would have easily facilitated a family of 6. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here, all contact was friendly and helpful with easy instructions and Alex waiting on our arrival at the apartment to show us round and provide information.
