We had a family of 6 stay and there was plenty of room! Everything was exactly as described and we appreciated the amount of bathrooms. The home was easy to find and close to plenty of attractions and restaurants. The hosts were kind and attentive and I’d gladly stay there again.
Me and my friends needed a place to sleep for the weekend as we were in town checking out downtown Raleigh. We needed plenty of space to sleep 7/8 people and that’s exactly what we got! Plenty of options to sleep and plenty of bedding and blankets. The biggest worry of our trip was no worry once we arrived! The location was perfect and communication with owner was super easy and timely, allowing for minimal stress.
This is a great place to stay if you’re visiting Raleigh or the surrounding area. The house is very cosy and has a ton of space. The kitchen is well stocked and the hosts were so sweet, communicative, and thoughtful! We would definitely stay here again.
The owners make up for any thing the property lacks. In our case there were no lacks. Property sits I. The front door of the community pool. Nice

About the host
Hosted by Evan Pallesen
We are an international but thoroughly American family. Evan is from New Zealand, Heidi is from Canada. Kids born in NZ and USA. We paid off our home in January and have cleaned it out and set it up to be an enjoyable home away from home for families and business visitors to our wonderful city, one of the four high tech hubs of the nation. We are both retired from professional jobs but still lead busy lives, and look forward to welcoming guests from many different walks of life.
Why they chose this property
This is a great neighborhood with a good mix of old and young residents. Nice for a quiet stroll in charming surroundings, but handy to the community pool if you have kids, and handy to downtown if you want to dine out or go party. The area is renowned for good food and craft beer. The city is big enough to have great concert venues, ballet, theatre and a symphony orchestra. We have an annual bluegrass festival and many other special events throughout the year.
What makes this property unique
Cozy family vibe and community pool directly across the road, with enough off-street parking for a visiting work crew other or travelling professionals. We will always negotiate for longer term stays!
