The property has a lot going for it- the layout is great for a group with an upstairs living room, kitchen, and master suite separated from three bedrooms and two bathrooms downstairs. The kitchen was spacious (although circa 1980's), well-stocked, and had nice appliances. There are plenty of children's games, books, and toys to keep the children entertained. The deck had a barbecue grill and seating. That said, the property could use some upkeep and deeper cleaning. The cabinetry is dated, and a few functional issues made things less comfortable: several of the windows wouldn't open, and some of the downstairs blinds were not working. The downstairs king bedroom had a wobbly bed frame, which made it hard to sleep. We needed an extension cord to get the bedside light to work. The kid's nightstand was busted. There is a fold-out couch, but it is broken at the base. Overall, this is a solid, high-traffic Tahoe rental with a great layout for families, but it is showing wear and needs some maintenance love before it fully lives up to its potential.
