Exceptional Value

What a hidden gem and a great value! Less than 10 minutes from downtown, especially the Raleigh Convention Center (GalazyCon 2025). Used Lyft/Uber every day to get downtown, and the cost was less than PaidParking, and so convenient. The townhouse was immaculate (a real must for me), with space to be together and have private time. Grandson (18) could play his video games and interact with virtual friends; I could complete my online teaching. Each of us had a quiet/dedicated space. It was the attention to detail; a basket filled with a variety of snacks, great showers and towels, SMART TVs so we could stay in and chill, fast internet, modern kitchen, and a digital doorlock and security camera! We stayed 6 nights. Quiet neighborhood, even with the second unit next door. Just us, two (2), but 4 adults could comfortably share the space—great Rental for a weekend, but even more fabulous for longer stays. We are thinking of coming to a Hockey Game (GO CANES!); Guess where we will be staying!

I will start off with a positive comment. The house is clean and smelled very nice and fresh. The beds, while hard were comfortable. However. the stay was more than undesirable. The location was convenient to the area I was visiting but definitely not a great neighborhood. There was trash in the neighborhood and in the yard of the rental property. Every night there was music playing so loudly that we could hear it inside the rental. On Saturday there was a party with extremely loud music and someone speaking on a microphone until 2 am. Absolutely uncalled for because the rental has quiet hours posted for guests to abide by. One set of sheets on the bed was filthy and we had to change them. I contacted the owner. I’m not sure how sheets were not checked to make sure they were clean before guests arrive. The light switches worked sometimes and sometimes they did not work correctly. One light went out in an upstairs bathroom. The house has nice and clean furniture but the walls and some ceiling areas need some major attention. I would not stay here again.

Our Christmas was the worst time of both our lives to start off the code wasn't working when we got there and had to text the host multiple times for a contact number cause we both had driven 3 1/2 hours and needed to go to the bathroom and the location is in the hood area,she finally called to tell us her partner changed the code but didn't inform us and I messaged her we would be arriving a day late so she should have updated us, we got in and noticed that the kitchen lights were very dim so didn't cook there and there were black and brown bugs crawling everywhere and I called her back to inform her that the main bathroom toilet wasn't flushing and told about bugs she asked for pictures of all the problems and my fiancé requested some funds back she said she would see what she could do I provided to send multiple pictures and got no response from her at all the 2nd bathroom the water didn't drain down so my fiance had to go downstairs to that bathroom and the light switch to the hall light doesn't work and he almost fell, the beds sleep so bad our backs hurt and the sheets were colored and most places always have white sheets and she requested we pull them off before leaving normally the cleaning people do that and the carpet was cleaned good there was black stuff all over it the place is more for people that don't care about where they are staying it was the worst location we have ever stayed in ever I suggest anyone looking to keep going microwave was from 80s just horrib
