We’re originally from the Chicagoland area, and we absolutely love the active lifestyle that The Villages offers. You’ll often find us out dancing, enjoying a round of golf, or playing pickleball with friends. We also make plenty of time for swimming, catching the nightly live entertainment, and joining in on trivia nights—one of our favorite ways to unwind and meet new people.

Why they chose this property

We chose this home because we instantly fell in love with its location and surroundings. The area has beautiful mature trees, peaceful scenery, and a feeling of being tucked away while still being close to everything The Villages has to offer. From this spot, it’s incredibly easy to get anywhere—Lake Sumter is just six minutes away, and you can travel all the way from Sawgrass to Brownwood with ease. It’s the perfect blend of convenience, charm, and natural beauty, which is exactly why we knew this was the place for us.

What makes this property unique

The backyard views from the family room and sunroom are truly spectacular at any time of day. Early mornings are peaceful, and we often see sandhill cranes wandering through the pasture. Evenings bring beautiful sunsets almost every night, creating the perfect way to unwind. We love looking out at open pasture instead of another house—it gives the home a rare sense of privacy and natural beauty.
