Wildcat Polly can technically sleep 5. It's most comfortable for 2 people. The queen bed is super cozy, but remember it is up in a loft. Please watch your head. The twin bed is also very comfortable, also in a loft and can sleep a short adult or a child that you trust not to squirm. The couch folds out into a queen bed as well. It comfortable, but will take up the living room space. A family of five with three younger children can make it work. Fife adults would find the space very tight.
Wildcat Polly's kitchen is equipped with appliances, dishes and utensils (gas stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator and freezer). Please bring what you need to prepare your favorite meals. We leave fresh eggs for every guest and they do not need to be refrigerated. If you wash them, please put them in the refrigerator. If you need more, let us know!
The water is on a well and depending on the season, the quality will vary. It is safe to shower, wash dishes and brush your teeth with. We have an RO (reverse osmosis) faucet, but it pours slowly so there with be some drinking water in the refrigerator as well.
We have a grill and a fire pit for our guests to use on the patio. Please be extra cautious with any fire you build and also be aware that we have neighbors and noise travels far in Wildcat Canyon. Thanks!
Please, come enjoy a stay in this unique tiny house on this beautiful land in this incredible area!
Guest access There is plenty of space on Polly's property and you are welcome to walk around and play in the field. We have a garage on the hill above Polly where we store a few things. Please explore on the hill, but be aware that there is an old foundation that may have tripping hazards. Thanks!
Other things to note Wildcat Polly is located about 100 yards off Wildcat Canyon road and 1/4 mile to the turn to Lake Nighthorse on County Road 210. She's one of the closest houses to the lake and has easy, fast access into town driving either road.

Our stay in Wildcat Polly was absolutely delightful. Only a short drive from Durango, clean, comfortable with everything we needed for our five night stay. Plenty of wildlife to keep us entertained.
This tiny house was perfect for our 2-night stay. We had great directions and support from hosts, and appreciated having a place to grill and eat in the middle of a long road trip. Easy access to trails, we enjoyed a stroll along the Animas River.
We stayed at Wildcat Polly for 7 nights. It was our first time staying in a Tiny House. We absolutely loved it. It was so clean, comfortable, and convenient to town and trails. The free range chicken eggs and the owner's communication made everything very enjoyable. We hope to return next year!

Thanks Patricia! We really enjoyed having you and Patrick as guests. Please come back next year!
Adorable property. It was so clean it seemed brand new. Had everything we needed. We sat outside for breakfasts which was a great way to start the day. I can’t say one bad thing about this place. And Wes was so quick to respond. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again.
