It's like coming to visit relatives...everything is here.

The local food is wonderful, and the city of Savannah is as beautiful as it is interesting.

Several cafe's, restaurants, and antique stores within 2--3 blocks. We are in the Thomas Square Historic District, the entire Historic District is within a 2 mile walk radius.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU...COME VISIT US IN SAVANNAH!

More Info: 3 Queen bedrooms, Kids Rooms: a Double bed bedroom, and a Twin Daybed with a futon in a common room. (There is also a fold-out sofa bed, for those who have trouble with stairs.) Home has 3 1/2 baths--2 have Jacuzzi tubs, and the master has a large soaker tub, and walk in shower with 4 shower heads.

This is my home...not a typical a B & B. We tell people that it's like going to visit relatives and having your own apartment, everything is here--we have pots/pans, plates, glasses, kitchen gadgets, grill, etc. All the comforts of home...and then some!

It is an interesting house. There is an atrium from the kitchen to the 2nd floor, a built-in waterfall in the wall (not currently operating), and a wall-to-wall chalk board in the kid's rooms on the 3rd floor. For older kids, we have a variety of games to choose from.

ROKU TV available in Living room and Master, Bedroom 1 (Chesterfield Room), Bedroom 2 (Lexington Room) the Media Room, the Kids Playroom and Studio Suite.

He is a national champion, and worked with the NBA, and AAA International League Baseball. Now, he's brought that class to his home in Savannah...and has opened his home to friends from all over the USA.

The house is eclectic, fun and clean. Great for families.

The house is as pictured/described. There was lots of room for our family. The kitchen was great!! We had no problems with parking. Some comment on the neighborhood- we didn’t really see any problems - everyone we ran into was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again with a large group.

Charming

The property was delightful and within easy walk of Forsyth park and a great burger joint. Less than 10m to the river, and only 30 to Tybee island. Quirky layout but comfortable and charming.

Perfect for a Group

This house is great. A group of 9 adults stayed comfortably in this beautiful home. It is furnished very nicely with a beautiful kitchen. We ate at a restaurant down the street (Grits and Gravy) the food was good but service was slow. We walked to the Kroger grocery store its a bit of a hike. The owner was in contact at all times. He was extremely nice and helpful. The house is kind of a ways from River Street, so plan taking Cabs everywhere.

The Kroger is 8--9 blocks (0.8 miles), and River St. is 39 blocks (2.0 miles). There are several antique shops in our neighborhood within a few blocks each way. There is also a new Sav-A-Lot 4 blocks away. Our guests who don't walk, tell us cabs are about $5 to River St. Bars, restaurants, and shopping. Broughton St. (one of the main shopping areas with restaurants) is about 36 blocks (1.7 miles). Forsyth Park is about 10 blocks (0.9 miles).

Great Weekend, Great House, Great Owner

We rented the house for my daughter's graduation from SCAD. We had several couples as well as single friends of hers at the house to celebrate. When you pull up initially, don't get too concerned. There are a number of areas in Savannah that are under urban renewal but the neighborhood was safe and the neighbors quite friendly. Be careful parking on the street and pay attention to the street cleaning schedule or the will give you a ticket. The house itself was very clean and provided plenty of room. It is actually quite a unique place. We especially liked the upstairs balcony for sitting and relaxing. The only negative issue was the gas grill was on the fritz but we overcame that quickly, there is a large gas stove in the kitchen. Jerry, the owner was outstanding. Great communication with me and things came off as promised. Would absolutely stay again...

Girls Weekend

Basically pleased with the house. Convenient location to activities we were interested in. Outside appearance of house was deceiving, but the inside was a pleasant surprise.The bedrooms on 2nd and 3rd floor could be a problem for those with mobility issues.The shrubbery outside seems like it could use some attention. The overall appearance of the neighborhood was concerning although there were no incidents. Jerry was very easy to work with prior and during our stay. Would recommend this property.

We had a group of 10 and the house was great and very accommodating. There were plenty of towels and beds. It was a quick Uber ride to River Street, very close to beautiful Forsyth Park and the historic district is simply beautiful. Driving in at first seemed a little sketch, but once inside the home is a home, very comfortable and nice. Also the area is very quiet and peaceful. Jerry was very quick to respond and provides excellent instructions for the house. We absolutely LOVED our stay!! Highly recommend this home.

Cousins Reunion in Savannah

Our family enjoyed our accommodations very much. The house was very comfortable and inviting for our party of 8. Close to downtown Savannah, Tybee Island and a Kroger grocery store was about 2 miles away. The kitchen was loaded so that really made you feel right at home. The only downside would be if you have issues with steps then this house would not work for you.

Fantastic Family Home

By far the best VRBO Kitchen I have ever used! Plan on stealing some of the ideas for our home. Very Comfortable place, so comfortable you don't want to leave. The pics are really what it looks like. If you are handicapped, or don't do stairs well you wouldn't want to stay here, other than that exception I cant think of any other reasons not to stay there. If I'm in the area again will plan to stay there.

Wonderful and Comfortable home for four generations to gather and stay for a family wedding weekend

We loved this house! Spacious, comfortable and Savannah-lovely for our family to enjoy while in town for a wedding. We had everything we needed - and more and throughly enjoyed staying together under one roof rather than staying in multiple rooms at a hotel. Jerry, the owner, was great to work with...allowing us to check in early to get ready for the wedding ceremony, providing a high chair for our granddaughter, and overall being responsive and helpful. Everything about it met or exceeded our expectations.

Nice House! Plenty of room! Nice Owner!

The house was nice and spacious on the inside! The outside of the house didn't do the inside any justice. The house is slightly hidden by the overgrown and wild landscaping, but we were fine. There was plenty of space for my family of 8. The owner was very nice and he let us know he was very close by; he was even close enough to send me a text about how the cars were parked, but we didn't feel intruded upon. The inside is beautiful and we will definitely use the property again.

Fantastic house with a very nice owner

We had such a great experience on my bachelor party. We were worried that the owner stayed on site but it couldn't have been less of an issue. We really enjoyed how spacious the house was and we were respectful but still had a great time and everything worked out perfectly.

Comfortable, Cozy. Home-like Experience

Upon looking for a place to stay for a wedding myself and 9 of my sorority sisters had a really hard time looking for a place to accommodate all of us. When we found this property everything from booking the reservation to check out was SEAMLESS and EFFORTLESS! Jerry was a great host whom was easily accessible via text for any questions/ concerns. My favorite part of the house was the master bedroom/bathroom and balcony in the master bedroom. Everyone in my party felt comfortable and felt like everything was clean and organized. upon arriving we had changed the thermostat and was able to keep a comfortable temperature throughout the whole weekend. the house was properly stocked and we didn't need to get anything while we were there ( we did not cook as we had specific wedding events) The area was a quiet residential neighborhood. we found a great outdoor seating restaurant/bar ( with $5 dollar margaritas) within walking distance. we also found a VERY popular breakfast spot ( line out the door) within walking distance. the convenience store next to the house was nice to have for snacking purposes ! Overall I recommend this house for any large groups as it is cozy but still has enough space for everyone ! If ever there is a reason for us to come back to Savannah I will definitely be staying here again.

Received a concurrent resolution from the SC House of Representatives as 'Goodwill Ambassador for the State of South Carolina' while in college in 1987.

Worked at USC in Public Relations--traveled with all the USC teams, Asst. Director of Fellowship of Christian Athletes at USC. Started my own company while in college (Kabuki: The Art of Mascot)--made and redesigned college and professional mascots (i.e USC's First National Champion 'COCKY'; SC State's 'Bully'; SMU's 'Seymore'; JSU's 'Gamecock'; Kelly Tire Company's 'Star'; Charlotte Knights International League Baseball's 'Homer the Dragon', etc.)

Worked as an ASL (American Sign Language) Interpreter in the SC School System, and as an Asst. Band Director at Spring Valley HS. Worked in professional athletics (NBA Charlotte Hornets/Charlotte Knights International League Baseball) in Public Relations for several years.

Became a national director for a company (National Spirit Group/National Cheerleading Association) in Dallas, TX. Developed a curriculum, published a handbook and had a staff of 13 traveling the nation teaching Public Relations. Taught classes at the National Cheerleading Coach's Conference for several years on 'University and College Imaging Enhancement'. Founder of the National Mascot School.

I've met 2 1/2 Presidents, movie stars, and Pope John Paul ll. Still friends with many guys in professional sports, as well as several Grammy winning (Christian) music groups.

Started a turn-key Cabinet/design business (Quality Kitchens).

Fell in love with Savannah, and bought a house here. One step closer to my goal of retiring in Savannah.
