Leave the bustle behind for the whispering oaks and calming embrace of our renovated Laurel Highlands chalet. Enjoy grilling on the deck, sitting around the fire ring, watching wildlife in the woods, or reconnecting with friends and family inside the cozy chalet. Shrouded by towering oak trees, the chalet is quiet and feels secluded. Yet, it’s only minutes away from Ohiopyle, Seven Springs, Fallingwater, and other popular attractions in the Laurel Highlands.
The space: Designed with artistic touches and a keen eye for detail, our chalet is ideal for a romantic getaway or a week of skiing at Seven Springs. Embracing natural light, the chalet features a multitude of large windows and skylights. Cozy up to the fireplace on a cold winter's evening or step downstairs into the TV room to catch your favorite show. When night comes, drift off into peaceful sleep surrounded by the serenity of the Laurel Highlands. The quiet surroundings are perfect for sleeping with the windows open in summer months.
The chalet has two outdoor decks. The front deck is perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee while listening to the birds sing or an evening glass of wine to wind down the day. The back deck is the ideal outdoor hangout space. It’s complete with a grill, comfortable outdoor furniture, and warm and inviting lighting. There’s even a short trail through the woods up to the fire ring.
We also supply 2 for 1 coupons for the Laurelville Retreat center pool. Mini golfing and access to the hiking trails on the property are all included with the pass. There's also a snack shop located at the pool too. (Laurelville asks that you please call ahead to reserve a time for the pool. 7 two 4-423-2624).
Whitetail deer and a wide variety of birds abound around the chalet. It’s not uncommon to wake up and see a small herd of deer milling around the chalet.

We had a fantastic stay at the Secluded Chalet near Ohiopyle and Seven Springs. Our friends had rented the Bear Rocks community center for a get-together, so we decided to stay nearby—and it ended up being the perfect choice. We’ve actually been considering moving to the Bear Rocks area, so this gave us a great feel for what it’s like to spend time there. The chalet itself is tucked away among beautiful mountain laurels, giving it a quiet, private feel that really lets you unwind. There’s a cozy front balcony and a rear deck where you can take in the fresh mountain air, and the gentle sound of nearby runoff streams adds to the relaxing atmosphere.Inside, everything was simple but thoughtfully done—clean, comfortable, and inviting. The chalet was very clean, and the bedding was especially cozy. We also appreciated the little touches like games, a reading nook, and tea available for guests—it really made the space feel welcoming and relaxing. The host was also very responsive to any questions we had, which made the entire experience even better. We highly recommend this chalet and would absolutely stay here again the next time we’re meeting up with friends in the area.
