This property was exactly what I wanted & needed. Near a creek, private & peaceful. We really took advantage of the serenity on the rainy days we had. We walked the property, sat on the deck of the creek house listening to the water & sipping coffee. The deck is also a good place to do yoga & exercises. Every view from inside is green & beautiful. All the little touches of home with miscellaneous plants about made it even cozier. The home had everything we needed. Our host was very kind & quick to answer. I wouldn’t have had to go anywhere else We did hike a couple of trails & visited Ohiopyle & Cucumber Fall. All worth seeing. I know where I’m going for my next reset.

Everything was great. Peaceful and private. We had a relaxing honeymoon. The only thing we would have liked is an air fryer for the kitchen for convenience. There was only two of us and we didn’t want to use the oven.

This stay was amazing for us. We really lucked out with the weather for mid April, and were able to enjoy the beautiful (and private/quiet) property more than we even expected. Alta was a great and responsive host, and left us a welcome package for when we arrived with some snacks, contact info, and a very nice handwritten note. Everything in the house was clean and as described. The hot tub was clean, the location was perfect for us and close to nearby hiking and activities we wanted to do. Highly recommend, and I hope we can get back to this house in the near future for another weekend getaway!

We had the perfect short birthday getaway for my husband here. The cottage was perfect—beginning with the welcome basket with snacks and wine, the owners of this property take every step to make you feel at home. All essentials were provided for, as well as some extras that were pleasant surprises (like extra beach towels for the hot tub and drying racks for wet bathing suits!)The outdoor area is peaceful and just secluded enough to make a weekend stay feel like a getaway. We loved everything about our time here, and will definitely be back.
