We could not get into the property because the door code would not work. Property owner would not answer for us or VBRO.

Donna asked for a late check-in. I should’ve asked how late . Check-in is between 3-8pm (I sleep sometimes). I did not receive her messages through the VRBO system until 4:15am. I am certain that if she would have called I would have heard my phone ringing. Arriving after midnight is ridiculous. However, if you would have been more specific I would have left my alerts on in case you had an issue. I had no problem with the code on the key box (I think Donna was trying to use the electronic bolt?) . The problem could have been avoided all together if the guest would have communicated better. I am sorry Donna had trouble getting in at 12:26am.

Property should not be a short term rental

Good morning, my team arrived to the property last nite around 11pm. We are not impressed with this property. The grass is high, need to cut, once they entered the house has a very awful smell to it and real not that clean. My team are there to work and we can not stay in a smelly place with high grass and need to be clean. We left the site and booked a hotel contact Vrbo Customer Service to get the run around about my refund. Waiting 24-48 hours for Cumstomer Service to respond. Now going on 72 hours no word yet. I Just reached back out to the property owner.. Waiting on a reply..

Marcus did not go to the property so I am not sure how he could have smelled anything. The grass had been cut the Wednesday before his “team” arrived on Monday. It was scheduled to be cut on Wednesday but we have had an unusually wet Spring and the grass may have been a little high. His team spent the night. I inspected the property before and after their stay and it is very clean. It is an older home so it is not hospital sterile. I have been hosting guests for over 3 years on short term rental sites. Hosts beware of this guest.
