Gainesville is home to this holiday home. Hippodrome State Theatre and Matheson History Museum are cultural highlights, and travellers looking to shop may want to visit Oaks Mall and Haile Village Center. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium or Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
Cute historic home in between campus and downtown Gainesville. Not the best neighborhood, but location is solid. TV has no cable access, so bring firestick/roku to hook up yourself. Floors definitely need to be mopped, but overall the linens were cleaned very well and house was very tidy and cutely decorated. Nice big fridge too. I would recommend this place for an inexpensive gameday stay!
The home is spacious and clean. It's in a very quiet area close to the University. Beds were comfortable and the house was nice and cold! The AC definitely works great! Chris is an excellent communicator. I'm giving it 4 stars only because of some minor things. I think the cleaning staff must have started, but didn't completely finish. The towels and wash cloths were still in the washer when we arrived so we had to dry them ourselves before everyone could shower (there were two towels and wash cloths already in the cabinet). No trash bag in the trash can, but there was plenty under the sink. Fyi- no paper towels here so bring your own if that's something you may need. Overall, it was a great stay and we would definitely come back.
