We really enjoyed our stay! The view and pool are wonderful!!! The location is convenient with Harris Landing across the street with delicious food and a tiki bar. The only complaint would be the bathrooms, 2 for a large group can be difficult and the upstairs shower has a large step to get in. We could see a lot of work has been put into this property to upgrade it. Overall we loved our stay and had plenty of room for a group of 8. We would love to visit again!

The Lakefront Getaway is truly a getaway for all ages. We enjoyed the outdoor porch and beautiful pool! The sand area was great for the kids with the badminton/volleyball area. The lake area was perfect for our boat and jet ski with the marina being so close to unload and parking for our trailers was a plus for us! Having a store so close was great and the fact that there was an ice cream bar was even better. The house was very accommodating and spacious enough for everyone to have quiet time if needed. Thanks to the hosts for staying in touch and making our stay a great weekend.

The location for us is perfect as I have a daughter who lives in Greenwood. The house worked well for us for what we were looking for. The layout was a little weird in that the gathering areas are on the smaller side and weren’t necessarily conducive to our family Thanksgiving group (there were 10 of us but 3 of them were children ages 4,4 and 2 months). We all fit around the table to eat but had to bring in outdoor chairs to have enough seats….and getting around the table to move or get up was also very tight. Not a deal breaker for us just noting things are smaller than how they appear. The screen porches are beautiful and probably would have worked well for us but weather was too cold to use them to their fullest extent.

Well the home was clean, beds were comfortable, view was great and plenty of beds for a big group. Early November weather 50’s so we obviously were not there to have a swimming experience which might have obscured the faults inside the home. The home has been around w many coats of paint kinda thing. The furnishings, towels, kitchen are not a 5 star stay. There is no living room on the first floor. We stood in the kitchen. Do you give your host a 5 star bc you are afraid they won’t give you a 5 star? This is a flaw w the whole rating each other thing. Nothing was “wrong” but it’s just older.
