Online pics were spot on . Couldn't described it better than cozy and the mornings wild life you can see from the backyard patio . Location almost 20-30 mins from every park visited
The neighborhood was a little run down, but the house was nice inside. Someone lives in the basement. That was slightly unsettling, but we did not hear or see them.
The interior was good. Beds are comfortable. Exterior and neighbors yard little rough. There is a renter who lives in the basement who keeps to himself and is quiet. The neighborhood is quiet so dogs barking not to far away can easily be heard. Not a big deal but two Large dogs were barking at 4:00 and 6:00 AM for 20 minutes so with the back bedroom window open is not to enjoyable. It wasn’t the dogs directly across way in the back.
It wasn’t a problem but we were under the impression that we had the entire house. We didn’t realize someone was in the basement until the second night.
It was a great experience overall! As the other review and site description states the owner of the house who is really nice lives in the basement and has seperate entrance something to keep in mind. This was not an issue for us.The lack of air conditioning is very noticeable in these hotter months. With this being said the main bedroom as a window cooling unit that does amazing but mainly just for that room. Cozy mountains home with modern applicances in every room. Overall great value for the price.Great location close to a lot of locations worth visiting!
We never received instructions on how to check in. I messaged the host twice with no response. Also contacted VRBO who was unsuccessful at reaching the host.

The main thing I want the reader to understand is that this is a halfway house for sober living being rented out with a full-time tenant in the basement. There are cameras everywhere. The living room light cannot be turned off. The jetted tub does not bring hot water. The space works for work. I was on a work trip. All I needed was a desk, a kitchen and a bedroom and a shower so for that it worked fine but if you were coming for that jet tub (which was the selling ) or for the neighborhood I don’t recommend this house. The neighborhood is not a walkable neighborhood other than to a park that is adjacent to a campus for a small kids.

Hi Monique, thank you for your stay!
Currently, this is not a sober living home. We are working on our final licensure and offering the upstairs unit as a short term rental in the meantime until we take in clients which will be in 3-6 more months.
This is a 2 unit home, with the downstairs being a separate entrance in its entirety and a private 3 bed 2 bath top unit as described in the listing.
There are 2 cameras, one doorbell camera in the front in case our tenants have issues they can video chat our management team, and one in the backyard to keep our tenants safe.
With over 30 years of property management at this address, we’re proud to state there have been 0 incidents or violent acts.
We keep the living room light on normally but can be requested to turn off.
The jetted tub does bring hot water if it’s turned to the left.
Thanks again for your booking and have a great day.

Quiet Stay, Shared House
The property was tidy, beds were not made. Door code took us multiple tries to enter because of missing information when entering the code. Upon entry we were made aware downstairs was private but we were not told another person was at the property. The property owner was communicative and answered questions I had during the stay. Bedrooms doors self lock if closed but no code to open was provided. Property owner provided way to enter bedroom after two attempts of reaching out to him. Spacious backyard and quiet neighborhood. Overall fair stay, wish we were provided more information before arrival.

The property is a nice spot and the size/layout was perfect for our trip (mom road trip with our kids). However, a few things made it stressful. In the secondary bedroom, the beds top corner of the frame kept coming detached and falling to the floor if I moved while sleeping. I ended up sleeping horizontal at the foot of the bed to avoid this. I messaged the house about it after our stay and never received a response, so hopefully it’s fixed for the next guest. Also, all the bedroom doors lock immediately if you close them and I don’t think there’s a way to turn that feature off. We did not know this and weren’t provided a code so we had put our babies down to nap in two of the rooms just to find when they woke up crying we were locked out. Luckily, the host responded to me within ten minutes and we could get in, it was just scary at the time so make sure you get that code before it’s an emergency. The bunk beds were cute, only gave it three stars for cleanliness as there were two Zyn pouches left on the floor in there and that’s where our toddlers slept, so glad we found those before they did. The backyard had a cute porch swing and the kitchen had what we needed. The host was friendly when I was messaging before the stay.
