The property was in need of maintenance. The bathroom sink? The hot water would not shut off. The toilet rocked. (they sent in maintenance) The shower controls fell off during the first use. (maintenance fixed that) North bedroom bifold door was missing the upper roller, so it could swing all the way in. The ceiling had a large sag over the bed. I worried it might fall on me at night... The washroom light did not work, and neither did the fire alarm. The living room had a chair requesting not to use it because it was broken. One of the lights in the living room did not work. One couch had burn holes in it. There were a few damaged blinds around the house. Outside, the grass needed mowing. Overall, it would be a nice house with a little TLC.

The one positive I experienced at this property was its location. Numerous lies in the listing; most concerning fire extinguisher, first aid kit. Cleanliness was fine until you use anything; missing bulbs, no screens, caulked-over mold in bath, broken table, cockroaches in laundry, bugs coming out of pipes, hornets in the house and fireants abound outside. Used the cheapest jelly air fresheners all over the house with diff. scents everywhere making me nauseous immediately, only find out once airing it out that it is overwhelmed with a musty mold smell, it smelled like a gas leak coming from stove, and they used the cheapest curtain rods possible, breaking every time used. HVAC sounded like a broken washing machine above the bedrooms. Communication was abysmal - "owner" went MIA during check in and then mentioned he was using AI chatbot to answer me, unsupervised. Then after something was resolved in vrbo msgs he started calling/texting my personal number acting like an immature 12yo, and not the housing manager they are pretending to be. He wouldn't stop sending screen shots trying to "prove" he was right about his response. Then gaslit and lied to me about using an AI bot until I sent a screenshot of himself saying that, to which he got defensive and said "you win" as if it was some competition, when all I wanted was more TP/PT. No garbage bags or cleaning supplies left but expects you to do a whole list of cleaning or get charged extra fees. Absolute clown show. Pics avail.
