Clear Lake

as described in the listing. Very near (walking distance) to Surf Ballroom, Saturday morning Farmers Market and restaurants. Enjoyable, nice stay. Would definitely stay again.

Great house and location. Had to clean kitchen when we arrived as many of the goods were expired, smelled and we didn’t want to put our food next to them. Garage is locked so minimal outdoor space to enjoy if not on the deck.

Perfect Location Near The Surf

Our group of friends had a wedding at the Surf and this was the perfect location! Within walking distance of downtown and right across the street from the Surf! A great benefit to have with a baby. Also very clean and owner communicates well!

I have a feeling that we will frequent this VRBO. I have a niece that plays Basketball for NIACC. This is a short drive from the college but worth being able to all stay together.

Very nice

We needed a place to stay while racing at Mason City. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and small appliances. There was plenty of room for the five adults. We would book this property again.

Good location, clean but buggy

Great location close to many things and walking distance to downtown! House was clean. The only downfall was outside was very buggy and lots of spiderwebs so we didn’t want to be out there at all.

Good location

The location is great. We walked to the lake both days we were there. The only thing that needs improvement is the beds. Not super comfortable. I woke up both mornings with neck pain and so did my husband. Other than that.l, great place to stay.

Great Rental! Clean! Perfect Location!

The house is super clean, complete with everything you need and is updated/well maintained. I have been renting this house annually for the last ten years. Over the years we have seen updated paint, appliances and furniture. Meaning our stay is in a fresh well kept home. Rykel is responsive, communications are never an issue. Not only would I recommend this rental to friends and family, but I am a multiple year repeat renter. I already have my reservation confirmation in place for 2025!

Labor Day Weekend Show

We stayed at this residence over Labor Day weekend. We were part of the Jimmy Buffett music event being held at the Surf Ballroom. Over the weekend we received the news Jimmy Buffett had passed away. This residence is just across the parking lot from the Surf Ballroom, so it was an easy walk for the weekend. The kitchen is well equipped and worked great for food preparations that we took to the Surf for the musicians that were performing. The house is very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. There were plenty of bath towels available. There was plenty of parking for the vehicles that we all had driven up to Clear Lake. The one thing I would like to see is a handrail going up the stairs inside. We would be more than happy to stay here again!
