Fall into lake life-fire pit, WiFi and fun family getaway

Your vacation starts here! Little Silver Hart Cottage is for families,business or just wanting to get away. Our two-bedroom, one and a half bath two level home that can sleep up to Six with a pull-out queen bed in the couch located in the downstairs family room. You can wake up to the morning sunrise overlooking the lake with a cup of coffee sitting in the screened in porch, or spend time on the sandy beach and enjoy the lake by kayaking, fishing or using the four-person paddle boat. We are on Hart Lake (also known as Little Silver Lake). It’s an all sports lake with tons of nature. Enjoy the evening fires (wood included) making "S'more" family memories around the stoned fire pit. Manistee National Forest is just up the road for hiking, snowmobiling, or ATVs. The cottage is centrally located for those who wish to visit Michigan's Adventure, Muskegon winter sports complex to enjoy the famous LUGE, or ice skate, snow shoe, zip line and cross country ski through trails.Muskegon state parks, and the farmers market located downtown with small retail shops to explore. We are also close to area restaurants, golf courses, disc golf, breweries,shopping, grocery stores, churches, theaters, and close to the Blue Lake fine art camp and Lewis Farms. The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood that has all the amenities of home with fresh linens, bath/beach towels, and a fully stocked kitchen. We have high speed internet, WiFi to work away from home or to view the U tube app on rocku we provide for those who wanting just to stay in and relax. There are board games and a foosball table for rainy days, as well as yard and sand toys for the ones wanting to be spent outside. Little Silver Hart Cottage is a wonderful place to kick back and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. See you soon!there is camera use on front yard facing driveway and back deck facing doorway! We shut off cameras on back deck during guest stay for privacy. The front camera remains on for security reasons only. THIS PROPERTY IS ONLY FOR SIX GUESTS OR LESS. ( thank you for understanding) kayaks get put away around mid October and taken out in mid May. Weather permitting. The lake gets treated for weed maintenance there may be a day that swimming is prohibited. We do not know the schedule in advance.

This was the perfect stay! Cindy’s home was very clean with plenty of space and everything we needed. She was very accommodating and helpful. The lake view and deck were amazing and we would definitely stay again.

This property is beautiful and the accommodations are excellent. The layout of the house is very functional, and the views from the porches and deck are lovely. The kitchen is well organized and well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. Both the house and the outside areas are very clean and well maintained. The deck and sandy beach are such a plus, with many toys and a shallow swimming area that are just great for children. The traffic on the lake is minimal, so adults and young people can use the provided kayaks and paddle boat easily and comfortably. The hosts are very quick to respond to inquiries, and their commitment to ensure your stay is enjoyable is obvious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to renting again in the future. Thanks for a great week!

I ended up going up for memorial weekend and staying here with my family, we had a great time the hosts are great and the house was awesome! I caught a 5 lb bass in the lake, we had a few fires and smores it was a great time!

"It's the little things." This is what we kept saying all week. This property had all of the "big" things that mattered to us, like being waterfront, outdoor and indoor space to lounge, modern furnishings, and cleanliness, There was a scereened in porch upstairs with a great view of the lake, as well as 3-season porch downstairs for gathering. The outdoor area includes 3 different deck areas with plenty of seating, which is all in excellent condition, a dining table and chairs, a firepit, and a grill. Additionally, there is a small deck with two lounge chairs and a table directly on the small sandy beach. What really impressed us was all of the little touches, though. There were cute, decorative touches, comfy mattress pads on the bed, nice bath towels, luggage racks in the closets, a fully stocked kitchen (even down to a pastry brush, an ice maker, and chilled mugs in the freezer), a basket of beach towels, an electrical outlet on the deck, a prep table next to the grill, roasting sticks for making s'mores or hot dogs over the fire, toys and games, sand toys for the kiddos, kayaks, and a paddleboat, and so much more! We thoroughly enjoyed our time relaxing inside in the mornings and evenings, and outside all day and would definitely love to stay again!

Perfect place for a quiet and relaxing long weekend. Plenty of things to do at the lake house and lots of option within 1/2 hour drive. The house was set up perfectly and easy to manage with labels on cupboards and light switches. The little details like this are great. Would recommend booking a stay here.

We love working on projects together and making one of a kind pieces we hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

Randy and I chose this cottage because we wanted a small house with a lakefront to enjoy when we retire. This property has unique benefits such as a 3-season room, a screened in porch to enjoy the views of the lake, wonderful neighbors and large deck.

What makes this property unique

Randy and I love staying here in our home! It is very peaceful here and enjoy watching and listening to the wild life that surrounds us. We also love that it has two floors to enjoy.
