The cabin was awesome for the family and friends! We went to polar express, had 6 kids and 7 adults one kid under 3 and it was perfect! Easy to kiss the road to go to the cabin and the u turn up the drive was fun! We plan to come back in summer when water is up!
The cabin was great and the view was gorgeous! Kitchen was stocked with most everything for cooking you could need. The host was very responsive to questions. Property is on a one lane, mountain road (just and FYI for future travelers) with no difficulty navigating.
The accommodations were splendid the views and tranquility really felt heaven. Kitchen had plenty of supplies, even had a large supply of spices, yum! The host had great communication and took care of any issues promptly. The home was clean and had activities to occupy any slow times. Highly recommend renting.

Liked: Check-in
Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Well if you believe the listing and expect to have lake access and activities right from the house then you will be very disappointed. Even asked for clarification regarding the lake levels BEFORE our cancelation window and we were assured the lake would be at normal levels and all activities available to us. The dock currently sits well out of the water and cannot be walked on and is very dangerous. Basically the hosts misleading us caused significant disruption in our plans including additional cost amd time to have to drive quite a distance every day. We had planned to spend the week at the house kayaking and Paddleboarding. There were no oars for the kayaks. In addition, be prepared for a very steep gravel road with lots of potholes to get up to the "lake" house. The house was not clean by any means (black feet from the floors and dead bugs on window sills and under beds and more). Couldnt play a real game of pool on the pool table because the posts surrounding the table prevented it (maybe switch it for foosball?) The only good thing i have to say was the firepit was nice and the beds were comfortable. The house needs a good thorough cleaning. The hosts did allow us to leave early and offered a partial refund which honestly was not enough after having our family come in from all over the country to spend the week on the lake only to find that was not possible from the house.
Great getaway and about as tucked away as mountain house can get! Great views and lots of activities in the home to enjoy your time around the property!
