Unplug and reconnect with nature at this private, off-grid retreat just minutes from Grand Marais.
Situated on six acres of stunning woodlands the Rustic Sawtooth Retreat provides two charming cabins, private trails, and a prime location. This elevated camping experience offers seclusion while maintaining convenient access to Grand Marais, the Superior Hiking Trail, and all the attractions of the north shore.
Please note there is no running water or electricity. Outhouse is new.
Two camper cabins, always rented together:
Cabin 1 - Sleeping Cabin (12x12): Includes a double (full) bed, wood-burning stove, and a small sleeping loft. The loft sleeps one adult or two children — bring your own sleeping pads or camping mats, as there is no bed or mattress provided in the loft.
Cabin 2 - Gathering + Cooking Cabin (12x20): Features a full/double futon that converts into a bed, wood-burning stove, dining table, and a kitchenette with a propane stove and basin sink for gray water.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Lock the doors and return the keys
There will be a brief closing list in the sleeping cabin to complete when you leave including:
• Dispose of under-sink greywater in woods
• Turn propane off
• Pick up pet waste
• Close both inside stove doors.
• Extinguish outdoor fire/grill
• Shut and lock all windows/doors and return keys
• TAKE ALL FOOD and TRASH
